Guess the Movie from one Frame - the "popular movies" edition #2 - movies from the last 50 years!

- Welcome back to our newest series of Frame Challenges - for this video, I went through the last 50 years of movies and pulled out the most popular of the bunch. We're talking about the titles that were on the Top 20 box-office charts of each year.
Of course, I did have to pepper it a little bit with films that weren't top-20 hits but are still monumentally well known. You'd be surprised how many extremely popular movies didn't find their audiences until they ended their theatrical run. I was very careful in making sure I selected titles that have earned the right to be amongst the popular kids (I mean, The Shawshank Redemption is one of the most beloved films of all time, and for the year it was released, it came in at #95. NUMBER 95. It was outgrossed by a Pauly Shore movie. In fact, even when you add in the extra money Shawshank made the following year, it STILL got outgrossed by a Pauly Shore movie. What I'm trying to say here is that I had to make a few editorial choices and I hope they're reasonable).
So the game is pretty straightforward - I show you a frame, you have around eight seconds before the title is revealed. You know the drill. I'm sure you'll know most of these, right?
Now, if you're looking for some more obscure stuff, do check out the ongoing series of 1990s films I'm doing. The only rule I had for that one is "if I heard of it during the 90s, it's fair game." But I worked in a movie theater for the majority of the 1990s, and I was very plugged in on what was coming out so some of them get pretty out there!

35/40. I’ve seen Brave, but got that wrong, such a forgettable flick
This was a great list! Easy but had a few that kept me guessing. Sadly still only got 39/40. Cannonball Run got the best of me.
It completely shocked me that Cannonball Run was the #6 film of 1981. I saw it a million times because of HBO, but it never occurred to me that the movie actually did well...
I got 20.....oh the shame 😢
Okay so I was drinking and not really keeping count, but I’m moderately sure I got 34/40 right. And I was trying to be honest too. That’s why I didn’t try to take credit for “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” when I said “Jumanji: The Next Level”.
