Lol i have been playing a big red deck like that with craklr for a moment but i didn't included the brashtaunter meme in it. I'm kinda jealous not to have thought of this :D GGs
Between crawling barrens, faceless haven, and various castles I think field of ruin is in a really good spot right now. Definitely a worthy include in most mono/dual coloured decks
The biggest "miss" with this deck was not including the new "Dual Strike" from Kaldheim, allowing you to double your Irencrag Feat into 14 red, which makes Crackle with Power a 1-shot-kill.
I did this with Blitz of the Thunder Raptor instead of Crackle. You can double it easily and stack the copies onto a taunter. 3 Mana for 30 damage isn't a rarity (assuming the taunter is on board, otherwise 8 mana). I actually built that deck (as Izzet) around Double Vision, but it would probably work (better?) without
My brash capridor deck has been the only deck I've been ranking with for at least 4 months in historic. Only recently has the angels with big asses and even more ugin decks been the bane of its existence.
My first impression of the deck was like "wait, you're not missing cards? There are 60 cards in this deck?" Then I realized that impression was because CGB only plays with 80, when he plays with 60 it seems like incomplete
First time I played against this I almost cried when I was just dead on turn four. Literally looked away while I clicked through the spell casting and didn’t realize what had happened until I was at zero and had to read the card to see why it killed me 😂
At 38:20, I'm a little confused. Isn't exiling cards for escape part of the cost? So regardless of if it gets countered shouldn't the chosen cards get exiled?
CGB I hava a question for you and the community. I m fiddling with a hate deck that focuses on things like Test of Talents, Necromentia or if I consider historic even Unmoored Ego and Lost Legacy. But I m kind of stuck deciding how to build around it. How much is too much, what should the win con be, how much handhate do I need for information on their deck etc. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think you could have won the game here (17:52), if you played the 4 mana spell that gives you seven red and a crackle directly after. You just hit them for exactly 20. Same at 12:19, you just had to crackle for x=2 to their face. Very fun video to watch though! (And spicy plays).

I think this deck needs crush the week, while it seems bad to 2 for 1 at three mana it solves so much of the current meta, solem doesn't draw annex doesn't create tokens and mono white/winota must have 1 mana to avoid red damage. because you're more of a control deck you often are sitting with open mana use two to foretell it and sit with soul seer or fire prophecy or bonecrusher to make sure it kills and exiles the most dangerous threat. Why the hell does that work like that?! The robber dosent die first right? Shouldnt they just go to the yard together???
As usual, I watch your video the day after and realize why I was suddenly seeing this exact deck in so many matchups yesterday.
