Hey Kayla! I just had my first baby on Tuesday and she's so precious! Can you do a video or message me on how you let your infant sleep, like do you turn off all the lights? Or not worry that they are breathing? Just in general how to do it because I want to be able to get rest to but be at peace that my baby is okay through the night. Thanks girl!
At first I used night lights etc but I found my son sleeps best in complete darkness. It’s all trial and error but you are her mummy you’ll know what she prefers xx
Eryka Martinez every baby is different 🤷♀️... I have 5 kiddos 2 teens 2 toddlers and a new born. My two toddlers would wake up every 2 hours until one was 9 months and the other until she was 2 😳... (their 10 months apart) my newborn, is actually the best sleeper right now. Shes about to be 2 months now but she sleeps 5-6 hrs at night. I stopped waking her up every 2 hrs after she turned one month..If she continued to sleep after 2-3 hrs I’d just let her sleep. After she’s a month she knows when she’s hungry so she’ll definitely cry once she feels hungry. After a month an a half she’ll start sucking on her hands in the middle of the night, I would hear that, so thats when I wake up and feed her and she goes back to sleep. Hope that helps a bit 🤷♀️.. I wish I had stop waking my toddlers up every 2 hrs when they were little cuz that’s what they got used to..😞
Eryka Martinez oh by the way I do wake her up by 7 or 8 pm I bath her and I try to keep her up for maybe 1hr and half to 2 hrs if possible. Even if she’s trying to go back to sleep. I let her cry for a bit that gets her more tired. And she’ll sleep better. And that’s what she’s been getting used to. And my husband and I have been sleeping really good through the night.
Buy an owlet. It makes my life better, I got alerted twice of my baby oxygen level going under 90% but the rest of the time I was able to sleep happily

I loved all of the clothes you got for Riley! I love shopping at Carters for my daughter as well. My daughter is almost 2 but she wear a 3t-4t from carters... thank you for showing these stuff😊 by the way I am right there with you, I don’t spent $30-40 for a single outfit. Not worth it.
If you really need things, then stocking up before the move is good until you are in your new environment and get to know what is available at what prices where. Saves springtime stress.
I found That Adidas and Nike sneakers are the best for my daughter, she’s 2. They’re really comfy they last long and they have some on clearance for 25$ ♥️

What I would find really interesting to know, is when in life you decided to have babies, if you plan to be a stay at home mom and if you feel (socially) pressured to go back to work etc. I myself would really like to have a baby, but I have the feeling that nowadays there is no “right time” for having a child. Besides a child costs a huge amount of money, especially if you want to support and entourage their talents. So it seems at least for me, that you are pressured to put your child as fast as you can in daycare in order to succeed in your career and provide properly for your child. What is you idea about this topic?

So cute!!!! I love how she spends as much time on her daughter as she does on her newborn. It seems like she tries her best to really make her daughter a priority too, even through the business of having a newborn baby.
Virginia weather is unpredictable, it does rain a lot in the spring so a nice rain jacket with fleece bottoms will be good! Cute haul!
