Hey Rachel. “I don’t have it in me”. Yes you do. You are the mother of 3 children, holding down a job as a very active TH-camr and you also have a great, interactive relationship with your family. You could totally go on tour.
I live and die by Rothys flats. They are SO comfortable, wash like a dream, and are truly the only flats I've ever worn in my life that don't tear up the backs of my heels. I'm a lawyer, and Rothys have completed replaced heels in my court wardrobe. 15/10 all day every day.
Thank you for trying the bra! I would love to see more randomly sponsored bras tested. I fully confess that I'm really weak for stuff that professes to be comfortable, but half the time my daughter just raises an eyebrow and says, "So it's a sports bra?" and I feel stupid. lol
I bought one of those overly sponsored UnderOutfit bras that have no wires in them. I’m a 36 DD so I was very skeptical. They’re super comfortable and feel like you’re wearing a sports bra without the uni boob. I bought the one with adjustable straps. It’s the first bra I’ve ever owned that I don’t feel like I’m wearing a bra and when I walk into the house the first thing I want to do is take it off if you know you know. They’re kinda pricey but I love mine and I bought my mom one too. Just wanted to share❤
Hmmm, we have the same size if I have my US/UK sizes correct. My size in NL is 80E (80=36 that's for sure. Or am I 36DDD or 36E then?) and I always throw out my shoes AND my bra whenever I can 😂. I have a few sports bras without a zipper, and I got them a size bigger. That prevents a very visible uni-boob, and makes it more comfy - the extra size does lack support though; which is a bit of an issue with an E-cup 🫣. I've no idea if they're available in my country, but based on your comment my poor b♡♡bies and dito skin deserve comfort that looks good! PS. I do have seamless underwear, including a seamless wireless bra. Had to get used to it, but it's the only bra I don't want to rip off after an hour and the 'stack of wood in front of my door' look good. I bought a second colour last week, and suddenly they had added push up 😢. Whyyyyyy? I'll keep the new shade as the push up isn't that bizarre, but I could certainly use a comfy "t¡ttybrace".
The BEST part about the Rothy’s for me is that you can chuck them in the washer on a cold was cycle and then air dry. They come out BRAND NEW looking again and I’ve had my 2 pair of tennis shoes for about 5 years now. They look amazing. I have about 20 pairs of different colors and styles of Rothy’s and they are a great show once you figure out your size. Expensive but worth every penny.
Try Shokz bone conducting headphones!!! I can't stand anything in my ear or hanging off my ear (and even the big ones start to hurt after a while) but my Shokz are so light and comfortable that I constantly forget I'm wearing them. I even got stopped going through airport security because I hadn't taken them off.
I’d love to see her try an iPhone for a week or 2. Not cause I’m anti android, but I’ve seen a few influencers do this and I always find it interesting to see what their thoughts are. Do they switch? What are their thoughts, etc.
I totally got sucked in to the Rothy’s ads! I got the purple Mary Jane flats. I absolutely love them. Super comfy light weight and breathable. 10/10 would recommend
I live with chronic pain as well I have fibromyalgia, lupus, 2 herniated disc’s, spinal stenosis and a slipped vertebrae so I know how it is all too well to deal with daily. I’m sorry you go through it as well but I just came here to say fibromyalgia also causes rib pain and tenderness. Sending my love and prayers to u, I love your videos
I also had a very big "I've found my people" vibe when she said that 😂. For some reason everyone around me is iPhone obsessed. Granted, my background is in magazine journalism and Apple used to be THE graphic designer choice in journalism and as a result most creatives working in media or adjacent have apple products. I do have a 500 year old MacBook from when I was a freelancer in order to properly edit graphic design files and correctly read files et cetera. However, as soon as I bought a smartphone I chose Android for some reason (okay not "some". I just didn't want to be forced to only buy Apple stuff so I could use everything together as they're so expensive, and not that perfect as said), and I'm just too frigging stubborn to change. Besides: nothing wrong with Android.
I have found over the years of weight training that things that add “support” allow for those muscles to not engage which leads to more issues down the road. I NEVER wear a weight lifting belt because I want my lower back and abs to engage and grow stronger along with my legs and glutes etc. I don’t wear a posture corrector because I want my shoulders, back, and chest to have to engage and hold my body upright. I want to be able to feel and engage the muscles and when I’m wearing something that does the work for me the muscles don’t want to engage/ participate 🤭
If you still need to correct your posture, I use a device called Upright Go. You can adhere it to your back or buy a "necklace" for it, which is what I do. It connects to your phone and alerts you when your posture needs correction.
Maybe you should do give aways? That way you don't need to keep what you don't like and at the same time you're making someone else happy. Or do as Brittnee Alexus, she sells the stuff she buys and tests for a dollar or so
I lovelovelove that Rachel is walking around her pad with her head phones in DJ mixing mode (the open ear in the current mix, the headphone ear in the DJ mix). PS, excited about the concept of ear buds that let in ambient sound. As a woman that lives in a semi dangerous city who wants to listen to music, but also be aware of my surroundings, I get this.
You just started the portion about Rothys but I have to stop and say I LOVE them! I wear them every day. I like the round toe flats, original sneakers, loafers, ankle boots. All amazing and they wash amazingly well in the washing machine. I wear them every day to work as a veterinarian and when they get gross I throw them in a load of laundry. Love!
I have the Lenovo earbuds that hook over my ears. I got them on TikTok in February. They work well with my glasses too. And the buds magnetically attach to the base which is ball shaped. Good thing I bought two sets because my hubby’s old earbuds stopped working and I had the second pair ready for him. I like that their charger can be worn by the neck strap too.
i’ve always been a silent watcher, but i’ve been an equestrian my whole life & seeing you in your horse girl era is absolutely everything 🎉i so glad love it, welcome!
I recommend the Body Braid for helping with physical pain/form support. You can adjust the tightness, add extenders, and wrap it so many ways. You can even meet virtually with them to help figure out the best way for you. Good luck!
I own the Bose and use them for my audio books. I think they are for people who don’t feel comfortable with inside earbuds but still want something smaller than over the ears one. I love mine and prefer them over my other earbuds because of the comfort and ability to use them for hours and not have any pain. The sound is amazing and I never had the woshing noise that you experienced.
I have the outer ear buds that rest over the ear with a hook. I love them! I have issues where any other type of standard ear buds give me an earache so they are wonderful. Plus I can still listen for my toddler
I love my Rothy’s black flats. They’re so classic I went and donated pretty much all my other shoes. Also used to wear them to work and having them be washable was amazing. They do tend to run small and narrow tho so with wide fat feet I have hesitated to try these more closed shoes though
Rachel, I just visited Canada for the first time for vacation & got engaged! Just wanted to let you know that Canada has a very special place in my heart now ❤💍
I think you should try the bone conducting earphones. They also don't go in your ears they go around it on the back side so you can also still hear everything
My fine hair was pretty damaged from bleach and nonsense. I use that wella treatment as a leave in conditioner in conjunction with K18. The combination is the only thing that has helped my chronically dry ends to stay moisturised and supple without weight.
Okay, for us teeny tiny ear people, I think the Bose ear set is wonderful!!! I haven't been able to find a pair of ear sets that can accommodate my small ears, and doesn't hurt 😃
Wella hair repair - firstly, my hairdresser is one of people who does celebrity hair and works for Wella and travels the world doing their hair shows. so I knew about this B4 it launched. I have extremely similar hair to you. Fine/but alot of it and roots get oily easily. My stylist used this on me one time, NEVER again! My hair is super straight and I need damage to get it to hold any type of even wave! This product will repair it back to virgin hair status, meaning, my hair went back to not holding any style 😂 so if you don't have my issue of needing to damage your hair to get it to do anything, it is a wonderful product! BUT I would suggest using like 4-5 pumps for your entire head, not the 10-20, especially for fine/oily hair.
It is nice to have an honest review/opinion on things so heavily pushed onto the public. I definitely be falling for it and will buy it 😂 so these types of videos are greatly appreciated
My new Bose quiet comfort like your black ones Rachel have that same feature Chris’s Sony ones have. Where it has a mic on the outside to feed you the sound while listening to music/audio. 10/10 recommend but they were pricy. Thanks work for getting them form me 😂😂😂
Rothy’s are very big in the Bay Area business casual world. Personally I prefer Allbirds. I find them more comfortable and a similar style and branding.
Maybe you can try one of the boneconducting headphones. I bought a pair and I have used them both for running and talking to people on discord and such on my computer. The sound is different from other headphones and maybe not top notch, depending on the price/quality, but you can listen to your podcast, music or what not and still hear sounds around you.
I love my Rothy’s! I throw the insoles in the wash and hang to dry and you can stick inserts for arch support under the insoles! Long time fan of Rothy’s.
@@ItsJustLisa i have one of theirs, my husband bought me a turban one two... I have very curly, middle aged woman thats had chemo hair... lol I hope you love it! 😘
I have long curly hair and have been using a silk bonnet for years. I’ve also paired it with a silk pillow case and silk eye mask. I also on use silk scrunchies now too. My hair is in the best shape it’s ever been. I bought silk bonnets for my friends for Xmas and I have converted them to being bonnet wearers now.
I've had chronic foot pain since 2015. The struggle is real. 😵💫 I have Ehlers-Danlos...causes tendon looseness, muscles take over for the tendons, and we don't use the right muscles for anything. Joints can dislocate easily (I haven't had this, thankfully), including ribs, shoulders, etc.
I have a lot of Rothy’s. The insole is washable; you can wash just the insole and buy extra insoles. Editing to clarify: The extra (washable) insoles make it more palatable to wear them without socks.
I have the bose! So they are for sure not for everyone, but I actually like them a lot because I have issues with in ear headphones constantly falling out of my ears. I have an iPhone, iPad, and PC that I’ve used over ear and my air pod pros with and the over hear hurts the top of my head after a while and the AirPods will slip out randomly even if I change the heads around. The Bose are nice because they never fall out of my ears. They are not noise canceling(since there’s open space) and unfortunately with all Bose headphones I’ve tried the mic is not great for calls but works. All in all, I’m happy I got them and use them as my go to headphones but for sure not for everyone.
I have the same rib problems. Mine is related to my osteoarthritis, I get pain under my ribs because the nerves go from your lower back caudal area, up and around under your ribs. You may benefit from a caudal epidural. Nothing like in childbirth. It helps with the pain I’ve mentioned. May not be this but what you’ve described is very similar to my experience. Hope this helps xxx
I have the rothy pointe knot shoes pretty comfy, super cute and the newer version is a lot better than the old ones. I also use my bose headphones the same way (i like moving around the house with them on lol!)
I have Sony Linkbuds. Open earbuds. They are such a game changer for me❤ they don't hurt my ears even after hours of wearing them. And also I can hear my environment if i focus and if i want to 😊
2:24 Rachel, you've really gotta start telling those people to shut their yaps. Being pale isn't a bad thing, or a sign of poor health, it's literally just your natural tone.
I’m so glad you tried the ear ‘buds’. I can’t use actual ear buds due to eczema in my ears which flairs up when I wear anything in my ear. Not even my hearing aids 🤨 🇨🇦
Omg I do the exact same thing with my work headset. I work from home and have noise-cancelling headphones. I always leave one ear out. Even though I am the only person in the house, I can not shake the fear that someone is going to sneak up on me if I have both ears covered. Plus, I can't hear myself when I talk on the phone, and it freaks me out. 😂
Passport photos here in the uk have to be taken against a white/pale background. For her last passport we took our daughter to a shop where someone actually took the picture not just a photo booth. They took it 4 times because she blended into the background. When we took it to our post office for the paperwork to be checked they said “we’ll send it but don’t be surprised if they want another photo “. I’m “we can’t make her skin tone any darker “. Also, not a Snow White version. And, when unwell you can watch what little colour she does have drain from her face
I was tempted to get those Bose earbuds but they are so expensive. After seeing your review, I’m kind of glad I ended up with a way cheaper alternative from Amazon 😂
Hi Rachel! I don't know if you have tried but I'm going to share my problem with you 😅 I have the same issue with my toes where they go up and I always break my shoes at the top because of this issue, so I went to the orthopedic and she prescribed me shoe insoles and they've been wonderful, at the beginning I have problems with my knees because the insoles are also fixing my knee problem but sometimes when I'm tired of been out and using normal shoes I put my insoles and my feet relax a lot (also I have some kind of autoimmune disease, cause I have issues with my joints) My doctor said that because I'm in my 30's it'll be hard to fix it but the insoles would help me for the rest of my life and I'm happy with that if it means less pain 😊
Anyone else start counting when she was spraying lol I'm gutted about the back thing I was looking into it, I got the one from last year the weighted heated over shoulders thing I love it in the winter 😊
Have you tried the AfterShokz bone conducting headphones yet? I have used them for years and greatly prefer them above other models, and I use an Android too so I know they work well!
Hi Rachel, I didn’t know you had rib pain but i can relate. after years of different doctors and scouring the internet i finally found a diagnosis- intercostal neuralgia. might not be accurate for you but maybe it’s something you can look into! i started taking SSNRIs to treat the pain and it was like a miracle. visit a neurologist if you havent already, they just might change your life!
@@sunshinebabe6064 I felt it definitely helped with posture. I can’t speak too much to lower back pain as my mattress is wrecking mine 😅 But I will say don’t be like me and wear it for an entire day, especially if you know you hunch when you shouldn’t be (like me over a computer all day), try it out for a few hours around the house first. And of course keep in mind there is zero padding so… just beware with certain shirts if that’s a concern to you.
If you are looking for new headphones, I cannot praise the Shokz headphones enough. I used to get chronic ear infections that could be triggered by in ear headphones, so I switched to the shokz bone conductive headphones, and I will never go back. The audio quality is still crisp and has a pretty good base for such a small headphone. They are perfect for the gym, work and just around the house.
I use the raycon everyday headphones and they have an ‘awareness mode’ so I can have them on fully and still hear my two kids going crazy 😂 i absolutely loveee them. Esp bc I’m not a huge fan of ‘earbuds’
Hello! I am not a fan of noise canceling headphones/earbuds because I always find it important to be aware of my surroundings- I came across open-ear headphones when I saw my Japanese friends talk about how these were more popular than noise canceling ones in Japan, and gave them a try. They are so much more affordable than the Bose ones, and I have been a fan of them for years! Was surprised to see Bose launch such expensive ones recently .0. They are called Shokz, and I would recommend these for those who don't want noise canceling (I also prefer the fit better than my Galaxy Buds!)
I searched for a comment explaining why the audio comes from the same direction, but didn't see one, so here I go explainin 😂 Apple calls it 'Spatial Audio' and it's intended more for if you're watching something! So the idea is that your phone screen or tv in front of you is the "source of the sound" so if you turn your head away from the screen to listen, it'll be easier to hear someone talking. I hope this makes sense!
Suffering from chronic pain is exhausting. I had issues with my ribs too and no one could tell me why, then one of the drs tested my liver functions, turned out they were not good, and they recommended some milk thistle liver detox tablets, within a month the pain was gone and my levels were a lot healthier. I also have diabetes, and I have read that it helps with that too but not too sure as my levels have been steady for a while now.
Hi!! I struggle with similar rib pain and got diagnosed with costochondritis. Maybe take a look into it to see if you might have it too. Hope it helps :)
Raycon just came out with similar ear buds that don't go inside the ear canal and they're nowhere near the cost of those. Raycon is a great brand in my opinion.
In my opinion porcelain white skin is absolutely gorgeous and if I see somebody with that I can't help but to stare because it is so beautiful and it goes the same way with any color but you should never be ashamed of the color of your skin. We are all blessed with different colors and we should all embrace them and not try to change them
Basically all it's going to do is glue the broken ends together but it's not going to repair them so you are completely right. You have to wait for the new growth to come in and then you need to cut off the split ends and the damaged ends so that you will have healthier hair
I love Wella productcs, they have been around for many decades. I tried the whole 4-step line in my local salon and my hair felt suuuper soft, and we just blow dried it, no straightening. I thought it had a salon perfume scent? Or perhaps the rest of the line has a scent. I will be slowly buying that line once my current stuff starts running out.
👀👀 I'd actually be into the posture correcting bra maybe a different brand I can afford but.... I have severe scoliosis not sure how effective it'd be but it'd probably be a good reminder to sit up and walk straighter because I normally just slouch into the curve of my spine 😅😅 might look into it don't know why I never thought of it thanks!

I bought one also and love it. So comfortable. I need to buy more.

Being the blush girlie that you are, I can highly suggest MIRENESSE
Marble Mineral Blush Face Powder 1. Paros Pink
Soft Velvet
Maybe you can try one of the boneconducting headphones. I bought a pair and I have used them both for running and talking to people on discord and such on my computer. The sound is different from other headphones and maybe not top notch, depending on the price/quality, but you can listen to your podcast, music or what not and still hear sounds around you.
I have Rothy’s points n black and wear them all the time! The best!
I love my Rothy’s! I throw the insoles in the wash and hang to dry and you can stick inserts for arch support under the insoles! Long time fan of Rothy’s.
Hey lovelies. Ladies if you have fine, damaged, curly hair, use a silk bonnet! Game changer!
I have one coming to me. Velanica? It ties to adjust. Elastic bands give me a headache, so this should be better.
Woke up early and can’t get back to sleep 😴 so glad to have a new video from you! 😁💜🇦🇺
I use the oladance open ear headphones and I really like them!
I feel like that bra would of been amazing when i used to do horse camp! It would definitely help my shoulder posture
I really like the Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones personally. I won't lose one and they are also not covering my ears because they are bone conduction.
I feel the rib thing with the bra sooooo much!!!! I had a baby a year and a half ago and it definitely worsened the situation😅
As I am sitting here with my headphones on with one ear open and one ear covered. I feel you Rachel.
It's a sign of great health! I actively try to keep my skin untanned with spf just for the sake of preventing sun damage/cancer.
@@Michellelipsticksame here!
I’m so glad you tried the ear ‘buds’. I can’t use actual ear buds due to eczema in my ears which flairs up when I wear anything in my ear. Not even my hearing aids 🤨 🇨🇦
Jabra headphones also have the "ambient" mode or "awareness mode". It's a cool feature, for sure. I wonder if the wooshing was noise cancellation
Hey Rache what are you wearing on your lips in this video? It's very pretty. It looks like a soft pink gloss?
Your videos makes going ti bed after a long day, worth it ❤
Passport photos here in the uk have to be taken against a white/pale background.
Hi Rachel! I don't know if you have tried but I'm going to share my problem with you 😅
I have the same issue with my toes where they go up and I always break my shoes at the top because of this issue, so I went to the orthopedic and she prescribed me shoe insoles and they've been wonderful, at the beginning I have problems with my knees because the insoles are also fixing my knee problem but sometimes when I'm tired of been out and using normal shoes I put my insoles and my feet relax a lot (also I have some kind of autoimmune disease, cause I have issues with my joints)
My doctor said that because I'm in my 30's it'll be hard to fix it but the insoles would help me for the rest of my life and I'm happy with that if it means less pain 😊
The wella lux oil is divine 😻
Those earbuds could be my lifesaver
My ear canals are to small for most earbuds , they cause severe pain. So the Bose ones might be the way to go.
Me too. The earbuds just fall, out
Anyone else start counting when she was spraying lol I'm gutted about the back thing I was looking into it, I got the one from last year the weighted heated over shoulders thing I love it in the winter 😊
I have that Forme bra and I love it. There isn’t any padding in it, and it’s also very compression like, so bear that in mind if it isn’t your thing.
Does it help you with posture or lower back pain if you have it? I’m thinking to get it for myself
@@sunshinebabe6064 I felt it definitely helped with posture. I can’t speak too much to lower back pain as my mattress is wrecking mine 😅
But I will say don’t be like me and wear it for an entire day, especially if you know you hunch when you shouldn’t be (like me over a computer all day), try it out for a few hours around the house first.
And of course keep in mind there is zero padding so… just beware with certain shirts if that’s a concern to you.
@@user-ts7pm7if2i my mattress too hahahaha planning to upgrade very soon
If you are looking for new headphones, I cannot praise the Shokz headphones enough.
I used to get chronic ear infections that could be triggered by in ear headphones, so I switched to the shokz bone conductive headphones, and I will never go back.
The audio quality is still crisp and has a pretty good base for such a small headphone.
They are perfect for the gym, work and just around the house.
i LOVE these videos!!
Best part of Thursday. Thanks for being dependable and really likeable. Chef's
kiss combination.
I use the Beats Pro ear buds. Love them, more so than my Bose.
Hi!! I struggle with similar rib pain and got diagnosed with costochondritis. Maybe take a look into it to see if you might have it too. Hope it helps :)
I love this series! ❤🎉
Raycon just came out with similar ear buds that don't go inside the ear canal and they're nowhere near the cost of those. Raycon is a great brand in my opinion.
Can you do one on eco friendly things. I have many suggestions from Amazon I can share with you
In my opinion porcelain white skin is absolutely gorgeous and if I see somebody with that I can't help but to stare because it is so beautiful and it goes the same way with any color but you should never be ashamed of the color of your skin. We are all blessed with different colors and we should all embrace them and not try to change them
Try the new Fenty Satin blush. I hear it’s very pigmented.
NOTHING repair hair. Hair is dead. If its dmged its dmged. You cant repair it. Just looks better
Basically all it's going to do is glue the broken ends together but it's not going to repair them so you are completely right. You have to wait for the new growth to come in and then you need to cut off the split ends and the damaged ends so that you will have healthier hair
I was excited to hear about the bra. I’ve been so tempted. But I do have a larger chest. Probably not a good idea. Thank you.
I love the shoes. I hear a lot of good things about Rothys.
Love the pink top! Where is it from?
I absolutely love your videos Rachel ❤️
👀👀 I'd actually be into the posture correcting bra maybe a different brand I can afford but.... I have severe scoliosis not sure how effective it'd be but it'd probably be a good reminder to sit up and walk straighter because I normally just slouch into the curve of my spine 😅😅 might look into it don't know why I never thought of it thanks!
Weird question- what color paint did you use on the walls when Christopher is walking around? It’s really nice and cozy looking!
Your eyebrows look fantastic!
The shoes are really cute on you and in general.
Which samsung ones does Chris like? I’ve been looking for better earphones!
Whats your lip combo in this video as its so pretty? xx
