Randall Bishop Jr I keep the subwoofer level at 7 and use custom EQ. I turn lows up almost all the way keep the mids one click below the halfway point and crank the highs almost all the way up. And then I use the same settings on my tablet when streaming thru it
Randall Bishop Jr I recommend spending some time customising it until you get it to sound just right for your ears. Remember to also take into consideration the EQ from your source such as a tablet or phone as I stated in the video.
thank you for the compliment, honestly I wouldn't know where to purchase it if you live in England. Here in the states I purchased it at a store called Best Buy
I now in USA much easier. But here in europe more difficult. Anyway i dont no what can i do. But thank you very much your answer. Just one thing. I have Panasonic sa-ak 770 really cool but a bit old ..
Hi can you please give the measurements of the receiver and measurements of each speaker? I'm working with very limited room in a small space.... Thanks so much
If i were to purchase this, would i be impressed with the sub? I like the bass to be where everything in the room is shaking(lots of power) i listen to rap with a lot of bass and i want to know if this could deliver. My other option is to get a receiver and buy a good sub with a mid/high speaker
I grew up in the 80's and 90's and as you may know a lot of that old school rap was very bass heavy. I myself also love thumping bass and this think really does hit hard for its size. I am a mobile Dj so sound to me is very important, so when set out to purchase a stereo for my home I did lots of research and finally settled on this bad boy and never looked back. It sounds awesome you won't regret it. I have never even heard it distort even at high volumes. Like any other sub placement is everything. I would put it in a corner, I set my bass level at 4 and that's good enough for me it goes all the way up to 10. Honestly I love this thing , I many different genres of music on it and it never disappoints. It has crisp highs and the lows just sound rich and deep.
Thank you for the video. :) You're right, not many people do videos on these things, and I plan on getting one very soon to replace my aging Sony MHC-ECL99BT, so again, thanks. Edit: BY THE WAY, does the included manual explain how to set the custom EQ?
Alright, fair enough. There *_is_* a custom EQ, though, right? No presets like on the less expensive models? If so, that's all I was really concerned about. I'll figure out the setup as needed.
+Clementin[e] yes from what I can remember there is a custom EQ option as well as the preset EQ like the ones on the less expensive models that you mentioned.
+Clementin[e] it also gives you the ability to turn on the bass bazooka as they call it and different levels of intensity for the sub itself. Which when turned all the way up gives you an insane amount of bass
Yes actually Bluetooth is the only way I listen to it and it always seems to be in sync for me. you might want to check the back of the unit and make sure everything is connected properly. one time I moved the unit from one room to another and connected the cables the wrong way and it affected the way the lights moved to the music. it is possible that that could be a problem.
This is so random, buuuuut do you still have that table? I just ordered this stereo and want to know how big of a table I might need, do you know the width of the table
Michael Jimenez sorry bro, I'm out of town or else I would have been able to measure it for you. But I'm sure if you look at the specs on the so y website it will tell you the dimensions of the unit and speakers
Dimebag Darrell on the remote control on the top left corner there are 2 buttons that let you choose the light color and pattern. And also the option to turn them off
Dimebag Darrell Make sure the cables are all hooked up correctly because if they are not the lights won't work. there is separate cables for the lights also coming out of the back of the speakers and sub
Brode Martinez yes I believe you can, but not thru Bluetooth because there is a slight lag. You need to have a physical connection if you want to use it for movies or video
+2332gregor I recently checked the stereos manual online and I found that there's an IN output and OUT output basically the red/white cable I'm curious because my tv has those components and I found a rca to 3.5mm cable on Amazon that I can maybe use? I'm thinking of connecting the rca cables to the IN output and from there connect the 3.5mm to a 3.5mm splitter that will go directly to my tv
+Norma Savage sounds like you have it all figured out, from what it sounds like it should work. I tried connecting it to my ps3 via bluetooth as you requested earlier and it did not work.
Matt Johnson then you won't be disappointed. The bass on this unit is awesome depending on where you put it , I would place it somewhere on the floor as close to the corner as you could get it
Can it give that window rattling and chest thumping bass at low to medium volumes? (I don't wanna disturb my violent neighbours but do wanna enjoy bass jolts and thumps to my hairy chest :D)
if you live in an apartment then yes the bass would would totally carry over. I recommend putting your bass at 2 or 4 and crank up the volume to 38 (max is 50) u will totally feel it in your hairy chest.
And I wouldn't worry about your neighbor's much for some reason maybe it's just the way my house is but even at high volumes I can't hear it that much outside. but don't let that fool you because this thing gets super loud when you're in front of it to the point where it will even hurt your ears, and I'm a mobile DJ so I'm used to hearing loud sound systems
2332gregor Just set mine up a few hours ago, it is sort of flimsy, but it sounds really good. My back ached for a minute or two after setting the thing up. Plug this here, that there, yeah it was easy.
Yes Sometimes the lights are a bit off sync but in my honest opinion I don't think they where put there to hit exactly with the beat, They are probably just there for show more than anything.
I know but it changes nothing, those buttons work fine with usb/cd but on Bluetooth changing anything there makes no difference, using my xperia z3 for Bluetooth. btw thanks for taking the time to reply. guess I'm stuck with it not working with Bluetooth.
quadsandairsoft If you have it hooked up correctly the lights should automatically start to sync. Before you try anything else look at the top left of the remote, If I remember correctly that's where it will give you more options over the controls of the speed and patterns of the lights.
I have this stereo. Its a beauty! And it cranks.
So do I. I got it on sale for half price about 5 years ago ❤
@@AJ-pu2em You like it?
@@Mr.77776 yes its a good home system
@@AJ-pu2em Yeah, I love mine too! Awesome sound and it cranks. 👍
This helped alot thank you. I initially noticed it when I went to my cousins sweet 16 and the bass hit hard enough for me to look into a purchase.
No problem glad I was able to help, It's been almost a year since I bought mine and it's still sounds great. Use it almost everyday
I'm getting this Radio for Christmas in a couple of days yay !!!!!!!! 😃😃😃
Luis Ramirez Your going to love it! Remember what I said about finding the sweet spot on the EQ and also try and put the sub in a corner
2332gregor yes thanks for the help im buying a table for it
Nice vid...just got this system. Any recommendations on EQ settings? I use it strictly for music. Listen to rap and rock mostly.
Randall Bishop Jr I keep the subwoofer level at 7 and use custom EQ. I turn lows up almost all the way keep the mids one click below the halfway point and crank the highs almost all the way up. And then I use the same settings on my tablet when streaming thru it

I've had the for two years and they bang they are excellent but I'm going to make a better box for that 10 inch sub
mate the video is beautiful. but where i can buy this? im live in england. i can order from amazon, but they dont do international shipping.
thank you for the compliment, honestly I wouldn't know where to purchase it if you live in England. Here in the states I purchased it at a store called Best Buy

I am in same situation:)), system can be buyed in europe but only from U.S.A from importer seelers, but sheeping and import taxes costs to much

Hi can you please give the measurements of the receiver and measurements of each speaker? I'm working with very limited room in a small space.... Thanks so much
Oh I'm sorry I'm currently on vacation and won't be home for another week. But I can do that for you when I get home.

+2332gregor thanks for the response. This moves the product up on my decision list!
Thank you for the video. :) You're right, not many people do videos on these things, and I plan on getting one very soon to replace my aging Sony MHC-ECL99BT, so again, thanks.
Edit: BY THE WAY, does the included manual explain how to set the custom EQ?
You're welcome, hope I was able to help in someway
Honestly I wouldn't be able to tell you. I like to find things out on my own and I don't even think I gave the manual a second look

really tempted to pull the trigger on these
I say go for it, My honest opinion it takes out all other competitors in its price category. If you love bass you will love this thing. It hits hard!
check out my other video on this, it's a sound test vid. you will need headphones
+2332gregor does the led lights moving to the beat of the music work on bluetooth for you? I only seems to work on usb for me and Sony is no help.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will check that connection. Really appreciate the help. :)
+Synergi Lund Sure no problem
Do you still have these and are willing to sell?
I still have it and listen to it a few times a week. Sorry no selling at this point. It still sounds great all these years later.
I pick my EQ settings no later what song. I like it like that. 👍
This is so random, buuuuut do you still have that table? I just ordered this stereo and want to know how big of a table I might need, do you know the width of the table

No problem, glad I was able to help
Ty love it
Does it have a dog for your iPod or something that you can still use an iPod? I wish my radio didn’t break I was so happy with it. Thanks
what year did the system come out
Roughly 7 yrs ago
How do you turn on your lights? How do you get it to flash with your music?
Dimebag Darrell on the remote control on the top left corner there are 2 buttons that let you choose the light color and pattern. And also the option to turn them off
2332gregor okay thx. I just got them and the lights were confusing to figure out. I've been pressing them, but i guess not hard enough. Thx.
Dimebag Darrell It just does it automatically
2332gregor o.
Dimebag Darrell Make sure the cables are all hooked up correctly because if they are not the lights won't work. there is separate cables for the lights also coming out of the back of the speakers and sub
I have a very important question...I have an iphone 8 how\will it work with this system???
SnapKase Seth I have an android phone but I have paired the stereo with my iPad mini without any issues, so you should be fine.
Thanks for the reply 2332gregor.I've actually had this unit for several years,I'ts just been in storage.Your help is much appreciated.
I've got another question for you...what is the best equilizer for this stereo?
2332gregor hello Quick question i dont know how to connected to blooth tooth do i need a app to connected?
Can I connect it to a TV that what I'm trying to do
Only by bluetooth I believe if your tv supports bluetooth
Can you please tell me what about sony mhc gpx77 bass quality?
Mohammed Safwan I can't really comment on the gpx 77 because I've never heard it. But you really can't go wrong with Sony
Can you use it for movies too?
Brode Martinez yes I believe you can, but not thru Bluetooth because there is a slight lag. You need to have a physical connection if you want to use it for movies or video
Can you hook up other speakers to i have 2 Nice studio speakers i would want to hook up
I don't think you can, Its been a while since I looked behind it but I'm pretty sure it has a custome connector made for the speakers it came with
lo escuché en casa de un amigo y pues se escucha más o menos dice tener 1800 rms probe un gpx7 y el sonido es super grave profundoooo
can you use these with the ps3's Bluetooth capability?
No I don't think you can.
+2332gregor

+Norma Savage sounds like you have it all figured out, from what it sounds like it should work. I tried connecting it to my ps3 via bluetooth as you requested earlier and it did not work.
+Norma Savage have you seen my sound test video?
Yeah you can use Bluetooth I checked but I don’t know about iPod use that’s my deciding factor
how is the bass on this? i like TONS of bass lol
Matt Johnson then you won't be disappointed. The bass on this unit is awesome depending on where you put it , I would place it somewhere on the floor as close to the corner as you could get it
the bass hits plenty hard and if your EQ is set up pretty good it won't distort at all
My dads Sony is locked how can I unlock it please?. Need halp
Mine has never locked up but I'm sure you can probably find the answer on Sony's website. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Can it give that window rattling and chest thumping bass at low to medium volumes? (I don't wanna disturb my violent neighbours but do wanna enjoy bass jolts and thumps to my hairy chest :D)

EASILY, it can be house shaking if tuned right, find the power of the dark side.
What remix of the song is that?
It's Nirvana vs Reece Low-smells like teen Spirit (Tommy Tunez Bootleg) remix
Is it easy to set up?
yes it is pretty easy to set up, the controls are pretty user friendly
2332gregor Just set mine up a few hours ago, it is sort of flimsy, but it sounds really good. My back ached for a minute or two after setting the thing up. Plug this here, that there, yeah it was easy.
+2332gregor What level was the volume at?
+Akalioun OFFICIAL the volume was at 36
2332gregor Thanks. I noticed that the sweet spot for the system is around 36-38.
Mais que som lindooooooo viu
Are they loud
Yes they are very loud, check out my sound test video on my channel for an idea but you will need heaphones
I got this it bangs
Carlton Taylor Sure Does! I've had mine for 2 years now and I use it almost every day and it still sounds great
lights aren't beating to the music while on Bluetooth , can't seem to find a way to fix it.
Yes Sometimes the lights are a bit off sync but in my honest opinion I don't think they where put there to hit exactly with the beat, They are probably just there for show more than anything.
My friend has the model above this one and his lights aren't syncing perfectly either.
+2332gregor mine light up but slow as if it was on stand by
There are a couple of buttons on the top of the remote that control the colors and the behavior of the lights. that would probably be your best option
I know but it changes nothing, those buttons work fine with usb/cd but on Bluetooth changing anything there makes no difference, using my xperia z3 for Bluetooth. btw thanks for taking the time to reply. guess I'm stuck with it not working with Bluetooth.
Where the microphone port on the radio
No microphone port
Price kya hai uski
Is the bass good?
Yes the bass hits hard on this system. I never even have to turn the bass level all the way up, for me it's good enough at 4 and it goes up to 10
could you turn it up to a ten and show me
+Blankets 2nd channel lol I would but my neighbors would complain
yea
does it has a CD player
Ron. G yes it has a cd player
thanks
sure no problem
Does It Light Up In The Color 'OFF'???
mokreem yes you can turn the lights off with the remote
Does it have good bass
quadsandairsoft yes, it has extremely good Bass, My advice is place the sub in a corner if you can it will make it better in my opinion
2332gregor sweet I'm sold
quadsandairsoft If you have it hooked up correctly the lights should automatically start to sync. Before you try anything else look at the top left of the remote, If I remember correctly that's where it will give you more options over the controls of the speed and patterns of the lights.
Mine are on protect mode can somebody help?
could I hook AIWA speakers to this system
No only because the unit has special inputs in the rear made specifically for the speakers that came with it.
2332gregor thanks cause I'm thinking about buying these but I didn't know if they were different wires then my wires on my AIWA.
