Did you add a gesso/something to trxture in hardboard? My takeaway from this - just keep going until you like it! I can get stuck in the mindset of getting it "right" the first time, but if i dont - just paint over it! Thanks so much, its a very beautiful piece
Thanks for watching. My theory is that it just paint and canvas, if you don't like it paint over it. I have a concept and palette in mind when I start but that changes often.

I like to tweak it a bit.
Do you finish the work without a break and is it wet on wet?
I take lots of breaks. I do work wet on wet and let the layers dry before going on to the next one.
