To express concession we can use:
* Although
* Though
* Even though + subject + verb
* Despite the fact that
* In spite of the fact that
e.g. Although he is wealthy, he is not happy.
He is not happy although he is wealthy.
* In spite of + noun phrase / V-ing
* Despite
e.g. In spite of his wealth, he is not happy. (+ noun phrase)
In spite of being wealthy, he is not happy. (+ V-ing)
