Have you ever released the files to the shells you made? I just bought the extended barrel variant and I know for a fact 16 shells won't be enough since the fields I play in are tall grass, and I will lose them
I think this hits the mark a bit wrong. It's trying to be a shotgun like the Spring Thunder without the multiple shells. Not bad for the price though. I'm going to carry on saving for the ST.
I would probably use just 1/3 length darts so I could fit 2 inside. The shell size kind of ruins the point of having a shell-fed shotgun, but it is very nice nonetheless.
Yes and no. They function similarly, but this is more of a rifle than a shotgun. The Spring Thunder still beats this on the versatility front with the different ammo shells.
I'm not a fan of having to pick up and take care of shells, so even though I like shotgun styles that point realy turned me off them BUT after seeing those fps numbers I may change my mind. Thanks for reviewing this, most of us would not have had a chance to see it working otherwise.
I don't see why you'd ever use this instead of a Spring Thunder. The Firefly can only ever shoot 1 half dart at a time, which defeats the point of a shotgun, and makes having to manage shells a waste of time (which is a big deal). Not to mention that the Spring Thunder can use all relevant ammo types as well.
I think the point is that this is much smaller and hits pretty good ranges without the need of a sniper barrel add-on. I have both this and the ST and they will both serve different use cases for me
For the fun of it! Not everything has to be a top-tier, mag-fed behemoth. Sometimes it's nice to use something mechanically interesting to impose limitations on yourself to change your mindset. This is also great for LARP games imo
Message monkeemods or wasp. They'll be able to provide instructions. It is fairly straightforward though. If you don't want to risk it, you could send it to someone else for assembly and tuning. I might be able to if you'd be willing to compensate me for my time

I feel this is a bit of a different beast to the ST
For me it's in the same space as other springers. I may still get one as it's only ~£30
makes me wonder if they will start making mini rival ammo for this.
IIRC this was originally built to be a gel ball shotgun
So not sure if you ever mention this Valour but is this blaster Injection molded, resin cast, or 3d printed? And same question for the shells.
All injection molded with some machined parts like the priming linkage

For places that allow water gel. It had shells for watergel.. That would work more like a shotgun.
Nice slug thrower, Too bad it only takes half darts and not a variety of ammo like the ST, but then again, it's also cheaper and hits like a truck.
