Sure, only JJ remains from tbe original line up but i would argue that Bazz has bern around for 25 years and JJ has some 'influence'. Certainly would be better if Dave was still on keys but Tony does a good job
For all the moaners make the most of it. Once JJ retires there will be "no more Stranglers anymore" or "heroes". Never be the same for me without Dave but still pretty damn good.
I saw The Stranglers (The real Stranglers) play here for their first six albums. Absolute brilliant! Now? Just one original member and three tribute players. So sad. They shouldn't be using that name now.
I saw them on the last tour, the first without Dave, I thought they had started to look more like a tribute band. The singer does a good Hugh impression tbf. Time to give it up lads, for the sake of the good name of the original band.
Brilliant as ever. Sold out again.
The BDS said that aswell about the Stranglers ?
Top gig !
Super.!
Génial !
So great.!!
Love from France
Still the top bollocks! Bloody awesome band we still go in our thousands as JJ explains. We are Stranglers FAMILY ! Love you boys 🎸👍🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Soon it will just be JJ's under pants in this tribute band.so sad😢
Do you reckon they'll still be using that name when he kicks the bucket?
if his pants play this good then I will probably still go and see them and then I will post the video on here if you subscribe ;)
Keeping the music alive, or would you like it to die?
Was at Sheffield last night, decent show but not a sell out.

How many original member's playing ? ? ?

To call that “The Stranglers”, is a bit of a stretch…good performance though.
It's still the stranglers no matter how much you want to cry.

The keyboards are too far down the mix. Even on the live album this is very noticeable.
