This is what I hate about the gaming community. Gamers don't specifically need to play specific games to be titled as a "gamer".
I hate that people ridicule others for playing games that are not similar to their's or just isn't their type.
Games are games and you should deal with it.

@@Connief1990 Well with PUBG bluetooth controllers are not supported so you would need to download an app called Octopus, but that might get you banned if I remember correctly. The way hiw you get it to work (assuming you have the same model as me) is to turn on the power via the switch, then hold the X and Home buttons at the same time for a few seconds. When the bottons on the left start blinking it is in pairing mode. Now go into your phone, turn on bluetooth and find the controller and hit connect. That should be it, depending on the game you want to play feel free to ask more, I just need to know first

I have the Ipega 9087s Red Knight, it's good overall, not the best one for sure, they should have made the material a bit more robust, the buttons also have issues getting stuck sometimes, it feels light but sometimes too light so you have that cheap felling, the thumb sticks are not so precise, I was testing it constantly and found some minor dead zones, it would be nice if it was sturdier and if the left thumb stick was bigger (about 20% bigger should be enough), the triggers L2 and R2 feel really bad (at least for me), they have a very short course of action, it's similar to any other button, so it's not really a trigger, the arrow control keys function great but while playing super mario or other games that depends too much on it, I've had some problems activating two buttons at the same time, it happens on all of them but constantly with the left and down, the problem should be easy to fix if they separate the keys, and not having only a big + in plastic pressing all the buttons below. It's the best overall controller for android devices, but I can personally see a lot of upgrades and quality of material, but hey, its cheap so I would say that is the best bet for anyone that wanna try it.

Yay! I've got a similar collection of iPega and other controllers, and I was really glad to see the Red Knight (PG-9087) as your favorite. It was the last one I got, and that's because it actually didn't suck.
I have the PG-9023 as well, and in my experience, the deadzone on the analog sticks is beyond annoying and really is a dealbreaker... luckily they've replaced it with that newer model, but anyone looking to pick up the older one for cheap, just don't. It's chunky, feels cheap, the buttons are loose and wiggly, and the deadzone on those sticks is the worst I've ever seen on a controller.

I feel like phones have become so capable, buying a dedicated Android gaming handheld is kind of pointless as long as you have a fairly modern phone and one of these bad boys.

Been using red knight for a year sadly the analog came off, and I need to buy a new one. It's still really the best controller I owned. The only negative side is you cant charge your phone while playing, and the analog and button is really small, not suitable if you are a competitive gamer

What about the joystick/dpad quality, those are super important for controllers. And also, the razer junglecat is much better for portable gaming btw, I modified the case to fit my cell phone since it wasn't one of the official three phones the case is made for. The controllers on the jungle cat are of joycon equivalent quality, which is also unusual for android controllers.

I own a gamesir g4s, steelseries stratus duo, 8bitdo sn30 pro and pro plus. I bought the ipega red night today since i wanted a controller that is really mobile but at the same time doesn't require a clip. worst decision I've had. The d-pad isnt good but somehow usable and the analog completely sucks. i would just recommend getting a 8bitdo for portability and gamesir if you want a controller with a built in phone holder. just know that the d-pad inst the best and a bit buggy.

The Snapdragon based S9/S9+ (and possibly other SD 845 devices) + revision 1 PS4 controller is hands down the absolute best emulation experience you can have; No questions asked. Unfortunately Wii U/PS3/Switch Emulators only exist on PC, so those need to be streamed or played on PC directly. Emulators on SD 845 devices have such smooth framerates compared to 'modern' PCs.. I run a $5000 PC and it doesn't even come close to the smoothness of the SD 845 S9; The $2 GPU has smoother far smoother 60fps than a 1080ti.. The fuck nshitia. Yes the PC can do some serious framerates, but does it 'feel' better?? Not at all. Both devices emulate at a solid 60 fps, the difference is my SD 845 device 'feels' amazing. The 1080ti 'feels' ok at best.

I have bought th Red Knight. Out of the box it uses button mapping. It doesn't says in the manual but you switch it on and push the home+x button, it will switch to Bluetooth controller mode. The led lights on the left side should switch to number 3 for this mode and number 1 for overlay mode.

Idk why everyone wants a redknight, it’s really unresponsive and is only really viable for casual games plus both of my analog sticks stoped working after a month despite me never using them because I was playing nes games with it. I’d recommend you just pick up a decent ko PS4 controller or buy an Xbox controller (pretty sure they work via Bluetooth, but idk i play on pc like a normal person)
