That was time well spent on a Saturday morning. Off on Iona in April after 2 weeks on Britannia over xmas. Your videos have been a massive help and we love seeing you and M traveling the world :) A ray of sunshine on you tube!!
Just rewatched the vid after you said you were in 5424 beneath Vista Costa Coffee. Our identical cabin 5556 in Sept /Oct was not far along beneath Anderson's Bar no disturbance whatsoever. Handy for the lifts and launderette. Tremendous value for money on the Saver Fare.
Hi Jamie. We were on this cruise with you - wasn’t it fabulous 😊 Our first time in an inside on deck 10. We have always had balcony ones before but wanted to go on an extra cruise more cheaply - who needs a balcony in February anyway? We loved our cabin. It was more than comfortable for a week in winter!
Well, that was a fun watch on a Saturday morning😃 28 days until we set off on our Canaries cruise, and your reviews really get us in the mood. Will definitely bring some magnetic hooks (good tip) and hopefully, our cabin has a similar configuration. Keep up the good work 🛳👍
Great cabin review Jamie. The wife and I have used inside cabins on Iona and they are plenty big enough for us. Im gonna go with Duck Egg Blue for the back wall colour. 😂
One cheek two cheek Ra Ra Ra. My partner accidentally flushed herself down the loo on the last cruise and I've not seen her since, thanks Jamie for the warning (came too late for my lovely partner though 😜). Anyway, when we did the same cruise in October we were on a deck 5 balcony. They are not very well reviewed compared with decks 9 and above on Iona as they are more industrial in design, however worked really well in the autumn European weather. The lifeboats above us stopped the rain getting to us and with the balconies being more indented into the ship it protected you from the wind. Perhaps not so good in the sunny weather but we really loved this balcony for this type of cruise, and as they are generally less popular you are fairly likely to get one by just booking the standard early saver fare! Which can be quite cheap for a balcony cabin for that kind of cruise. Beware of the toilet power though...
Looks like a lovely cabin Jamie. Quite different to Azura. Disappointed about the comment about the single tooth brush! No-one going on a cruise is sad at all-on their own or sharing! Look forward to the next video! Thanks. x
Hey really love your vlogs - we're thinking of booking a similar cruise on Iona next year and thinking that the inside looks perfect for a one week cruise when the weather will be colder ( normally prefer balconies ). Looking forward to seeing the port footage. We live in Amazingstoke too 😂 xx
Hey, It's all about a great holiday, I would rather have more holidays a year than just one with a balcony...I am so used to an inside cabin I don't even think about it... In life there is always a more expensive better option and we all just need to make the most of what we have..Blaa blaa people just have fun, Jamie has said it...these cabins are fine...Thanks jamie
I stayed in an inside cabin on a Carnival cruise from Orlando to Nassau. The room was fine but, every time I opened the door and the balcony cabin across from me had their door open, I could see the sea and sunshine😕. I need to see outside and have fresh air or I feel claustrophobic.
Hi Jamie l met you on male th flight to carribean xx l was the lady who didn’t know what to say so just said seats are nice 😂😅not like but LOVE your videos ,they’re bloody handsome my love 😂 my next trip is Iona to Norway in May with ten family members wish me luck 🍀 x happy cruisingxx
Hi Jamie Glad you didn’t have cabin 5354 which is directly below main crew clean up area and it’s noisy as hell so take note everyone AVOID at all costs !
We're booked in a inside cabin on Marella for the 2 of us, I personally think the space is good, what do think of Marella inside cabins? I've seen your video on them xx
Thanks for this helpful video. We have an inside cabin next year, but there'll be two adults and two children.....does the cabin in your video accomodate children too, or are they different? (Bigger?!😂)
I had single occupancy of a double inside cabin on Iona. I felt it was designed for P&O accountants, not the comfort of passengers. It would almost force a couple to spend nearly all of their time in the public areas, such was its cramped size. By contrast, an inside cabin I had on MSC's Preziosa was very spacious.
Would I chose an inside cabin? Yes if the price difference as a solo gave me no choice. The last one I had one alone was on FO’s Black Watch - it was more than double the size of yours because, I suspect, it may have been a crew cabin as I had crew cabins all round me. Yours seemed smaller than some others I have seen especially with two beds in it making it a double in reality. Two in that? Ow!
Ik new so sorry and u and maffoo a couple and why isent he here in this trip watched quite alot of these iona vids as iv been on it alr once and going on it again at the end of 2026
Pinned up against the wall. Good god, the inside cabin sounds like a torture chamber. Who will be left to enjoy breakfast. And what will become of them! 😅😊
I'll never again get an inside cabin as I got severe food poisoning on Arvia 2023. It turns into a prison cell very quickly when you can't leave for 2 days!
Let’s go inside 😮
I saw you on the iona I was on deck 11
And outside off the beach house with you there with the camera

Yay !!!! The Loveducks made it into the vlog !!! Thank you Jamie, was lovely to meet you xx ❤
Ha! They did indeed 😉 And the main vlog too!
It was a privilege to meet you last week at the silent disco ♥️ I hope you had the best week
I loooved it!!! You?
Nice to watch your review 1st thing on a Saturday morning 😂 xxx 😘
Oh hey 👋 Thank you 😊
Thank you for a fantastic review of interior cabin set up as a twin, perfect !
Welcome 🙏

Oh thank you so much - I love this comment
I couldn’t do an inside cabin however that cabin looks really nice. Calm decor and cosy
I think ‘calm’ is very accurate
Thank you Jamie, I never thought about moving the shelf in the fridge! That means my big bottle will now fit 🎉
Oh it will indeed!!
Welcome 🙏
Another great video Jamie. Always enjoy the latest uploads. Keep them coming and keep up the great Vlogging.
Thank you so much 😊

On this cruise we could do an inside but we also love the light and balcony for a coffee or drinks in the evening 😁😁.
I missed that 😩
Perfect way to start a Saturday, hearing your dulcet tones Jamie 😀 Great review!
Lol 😆 😂 😝
Inside = more cruises each year = happiness 😄
That’s how it works for some, absolutely!
Love the nightlight tip. Great cabin too might try it one day. Hope Maffoo is happy to see you 😊
He is 😆 Gets better food when I’m home for a start!!
We were on the deck below in an inside cabin on the same trip! There were three of us and we found it really nice. It was so quiet! Xx
Really pleased to hear this ❤️
Also we always ask for ice each day. They put it in the fridge and it pretty much lasts till the next morning.
Absolutely this

Oh I like this colour description 🙏🙏🙏
Ship looks lovely and the cabin as well, but, like you, I need that outside light!!!
I was fine in here but always prefer the natural light, yes
Looks really nice for inside price so much for single 😮 have a nice time .
Oh I thought it was a very reasonable price for a solo / a week
Really enjoyed that show round! The layout is excellent - just wish fridge was underneath tea and coffee station
Oh out of interest, why?

I think those cabins are great - lower down, more sheltered! I like 👍

Hehehe
I’m on Iona 6th April I can not wait 🎉
Have a great time
Hello. Just wondering how big are the cans of water? Love your channel and your humour.
Half pint sort of size!
It’s a lovely cabin. I’ve never been in an inside cabin before. I’m interested in trying though, perhaps on a 4 day cruise first.
Oh that would be the perfect time to try one out
Yes 👍
👀👀👀
The cabin looks lovely and modern and cosy, perfect for one or two. Every video of yours edges me closer to spending lots of £ on a cruise, oops! x
Ooops! I’m a bad influence for sure lol 😆
Was on this cruise was great meeting you in Bruges
Thank you 🙏 Hope you had a great time!

Yes, space is fine on Marella - beds are a bit small though
I have a soft spot for an Iona inside cabin. Our first cruise experience!
The first time is always……. ❤️

Oh not this cabin, no! Those extra beds will come down from ceiling and probably same amount of space. It’ll be cosy for sure ❤️❤️❤️
Awww quite like that ❤

How’s the internet on iona Jamie?
Worked perfectly for me

I’m sorry I don’t understand your question
It looks really nice but i'd get claustophobia with no natural light or exit to outside. It'd need to be a balcony for me -
👍👍👍
