I finally used my auto press yesterday. Sublimated a t-shirt and sweatshirt. Love love love it! My favorite feature is my desk didn’t get extremely hot like it normally did with my other heat press. I used to switch to an ironing board because my work space had me scared of starting a fire.
I bought a firesafe brick tile from Lowe's hardware store. Just so the brick tile didn't scratch my desk surface, I put down a silicone mat. WORKS LIKE A DREAM! *NOTE: I habe a different press, but same concept for amm

I was so excited when they sent me one of these machines and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. It seems like there's no pressure and I've pressed shirts 4x and still had the vinyl peel up. I tried cranking the heat up and that didn't work either.
No matter what I tried, including ALL the hacks posted on various TH-cam videos, I could not get enough pressure to make a decent shirt. Contacted customer support and went round and round with them for over a week doing everything they said to do and sending all the pictures and details regarding the heat transfers I was using and finally told them I wanted a new unit or a refund. They informed me that I would have to pay for return shipping which was BS! They only pay for return shipping when it's a defective unit. Well, if you can't get enough pressure to actually apply a heat transfer I would call that defective. That's when they stopped replying to my messages. Contacted my bank and disputed the charge. A week later the temporary credit they gave me while waiting to hear from the company became permanent. I had such high hopes but the fact that they don't honor their warranty really ticked me off. Got my money back and bought a different press.

Was wondering did you buy it from the official website or from Amazon? The reason I'm asking is because im a little skeptical since there are no reviews of the machine on their website so idk if it's legit or not.
@@seanhutson593 I purchased two at separate times through the kickstarter program last year. At that time I paid less than $400 for two at that time. HTVRont’s site is legit. However, if you order from Amazon you can buy an extended warranty. Maybe reach out to Angel to see if she have an affiliate link to HTVRONT or Amazon. Also, order a separate pad because the one that comes with it crinkles after a while.
I’ve pressed hoodies and even sublimated blankets. It is possible with maneuvering the blanket. My biggest concern now is if I’m able to do 3-D Puff with this with not being able to set the pressure.

I have this one and fully regret it. I can’t get it to press enough. I even upgraded the pad to a silicone one with a wool press pad underneath it. I’ve ruined two shirts now. I should have just kept my crappy press. ☹️
If you got the thick silicone pad that replaces the pad. It presses harder if you lift it higher. Try putting something under your pad that lifts it a bit more. I have a silicone pad coming that is almost a 1/4 inch thick to replace my pad. I mostly sublimate glass clocks and glass photo plates. I just needed a surface that was harder and didn’t move. I don’t do fabric.

I have this press and I love it! The only issue I have had is when I did print and cut and used the clear vinyl for cotton! I assume maybe too much pressure I had speckles of in all around my cut. I have used the clear or matte htv with no problems on my other press. Have you had any issues with that, but I do love the press easy to use, and it doesn't take up too much space! Thank you!
Thanks for the follow up. I have had mine for about 1 month now and I've notice pressure issues in the middle of my press. It seems to have a dip that's affecting the pressure. I also purchased a silicone matt to see if that would make a difference. I'm going to keep playing around with the time and temp to see if that makes a difference.
issue for me is i had ordered this because silicone mats smell like fish really strong when you have used them for a while so i wanted together away from using silicone mats

I received mine today I pressed a mouse pad and the middle part seems not to get enough presure. I only tried ones piece so I'm not gonna judge it yet until I try it a bit more. Bit not having presure to adjust its a bummer.
I wouldn't get this one or the Cricut one. HTVRont does NOT honor their warranty and I had to file a dispute with the credit card company. Cricut is just plain over priced. You're paying for the name which whoopie so it says Cricut.
Seems to me this machine is either good or just bad, there are many who sub items where this does not work and is patchy and some where it works. if someone is to buy this make sure you try everything within a few days that you normally make and then return it if its not working

I just came across your follow up video and was wondering if you have had any yellowing of the white housing? I've only had mine for 3 months and it's terribly yellowed and discolored all around near the heat plate and even up towards the digital display area. Not sure if I need to call their customer service about it, I have heard they are not great to deal with.

With the oressure being "AUTOMATIC", how does it know, or "sense" what material you are using and how much pressure you need? I know that with particularly a lot of sublimation products, it requires much more pressure. How does the machine since this and it just for this?

I just purchased the HTVRONT Auto Press. What I need to know is how to turn it off. I press the start button and hold it down but it won't shut off. I have left it for over half an hour and it still won't shut off. I have to pull the power cord to get it to shut down. Is my new machine faulty or am I doing something wrong?
This is a great review. I'm new to this type of thing and I'm trying to apply "Siser EasyWeed Adhesive" as a first step to later adhering foil to a jean jacket and on the first try it didn't stick. I used the manufacturer's specs, 300 degrees for 5 seconds, but it didn't work. Can you tell me if I would have to change some of the settings? Temperature, time or pressure? I don't know if the pressure can be regulated in this type of heat press
Nope you can't adjust pressure. I bought the silicone mat 3/8" thick hoping that would help. Nope. Never could make anything decent with this machine. Company wouldn't honor warranty so had to file a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back.

@austingraphics I’ve pressed over 100 sweatshirts with mine. I haven’t pressed any size beyond a 5X. Most people naturally feed in garments hood/top first. I learned from my old Amazon press to turn the garment to the side. If I need more pressure for sublimation I add a heat pillow. I have two of these presses. My only complaint is the stupid pad that comes with it wrinkles. I replaced mine with a 15x15 pad from Amazon.

U can do a large shirt! I have the press and do 5x all the time with no issues.
I didn’t know you can sublimate on wood without putting anything on the wood first. Good to know

Try adding in a pressing pillow. It should work fine with that

I definitely won’t pay for the overpriced cricut in the first 2 years. The cricut auto press is also smaller which is a deal breaker for me.

That light always stays on. I had it on a plug that had an on/off switch so I could turn it off when I was done.

The only thing I wish they had done is made it so you can lock the drawer open. Otherwise I've had a good experience.
