For budget equipments these are great. When I discovered them I was like wow for a Chinese company that has a warehouse in SoCal these are great. Highly recommend for anyone who’s starting out but doesn’t have a very large budget.
Absolutely. I watch so many videos like this online, I enjoy it a lot. Figured I would make one and answer some questions I had. Thank you for watching and thank you for your time.
What a great video. As a really small event guy I’m looking to upgrade from point sources and this was exactly what I needed to see so thank you for this! It’s clear they made everything but the drivers. The PCB silkscreen has their name on it when they could’ve easily cobbled something together from the china parts bin. I’d be interested to see the quality of components on said PCB but if they sound good then that’s the important bit. I have never had a passive crossover fail me.
I have played with some other sound stuff myself being a DJ and also an audio engineer and I've had pretty good luck with their stuff and I wanted to thank you for doing a great job on this video you did answer some of my questions
Thank you for reaching out. We have been deployed these yet. We will start in June. I will post to follow up video then. Thank you everyone who has reached out
The mid hi boxes get power from the amp in the sub. Any possibility of update to run this box, or even a hang of these with the sub, thru SMAART ? Max Continuous SPL real world would be nice.
I actually just ordered the dual 8 version of these. Just one box as I needed center fill for a bigger show. The main system I'm using is 4 - JBL srx835 tops and 4 - Srx828 subs. I figured the zethus line would do a decent job for the dancers up front that want to hear the mix in their face
I'm looking for something opposite of what i normally do. I'm really nervous about buying anything but Bose , in this department (as jaded as that may sound) but the question i ask myself is "Am i missing out" Thank you for your review, Sir.
holly crap! At 4:35, you addressed my comment after I wrote it in the video.... You dismissed yourself as "Rambling," and you were actually speaking to WHY I'M WATCHING YOU! Brilliant!👏
I'm trying to figure out which line array to buy! Need someone's advice. My two choices are the soundtown 210s or the seismic 210 speaker line array. I see more guys on TH-cam using the seismic, and the seismic's are less money????
I’m just seeing this, I would like to say that I’ve installed over 40 Seismic 210s. They’re absolutely awesome! How ever, 2023/24 I’ve also installed 5 sets for 12 of the soundtown 210s as well and I’m blown away! They both are neck and neck from my 5 years of experience with the seismic, and 1.5 years with soundtown. I’m a jbl line array guy for the last 20 plus years, how ever, I love them all I guess. This is a great video 🙏
Great review... Dont get me wrong, I love my point source boxes, but would be nice to go with a system that can be flown to reach audiences further back and flown from my trussing but have the architecture to blend without sacrificing audio intelligibility with several boxes (3 or 4 per side) Hoping we get to see you review one of their active 12" boxes. Kudos!
Just bought the sound town Carme powered subwoofer 18 very constructed looks beautiful but clips a a very low volume, I was expecting to do a little better, I do live sound, I know I didn’t pay top dollar’s for it but like I said was expecting just a little more volume before it started clipping.

I have the 8 pieces of the 8" version..
I'm very impressed with the performance
Ran a crown xti4002 last summer..
Next yr I am going to run a cvr 2004
How did it sound on the Crown?
What kind of events were you capable of doing with the 8" version. Or what do you think they are capable of?
Hey, thanks for the video. Can’t wait for upcoming videos on this and maybe also their subs down the road.
Can you usa the dbx pa2 to program dsp?
Thanks for showing the insides, greatly appreciated

Will it be worth buying these boxes and upgrade the woofers and drivers? Lets say 18sound or something. Any ideas please
Looking at some of their powered line array. Thank you for this video. Helps a lot.

Thank you for taking your time and creating this video, I really enjoyed it
I'd love to see an update
Definatly wanna see more videos like this one. I couldn’t find any other ones on your channel so I hope you make some more of these
Oh and can we get an update video? I’d like to know what you think now and more about the ground bar.
Thank you for reaching out. We have been deployed these yet. We will start in June. I will post to follow up video then. Thank you everyone who has reached out
Ok thank you! I’m very interested in ground stacking 3-4 of these.
Excellent speech. Can we hear it?

Did you ever get the fly bar in? Or have specs for fabrication?

Can you try to review the dual 12s they have just got out?
Any updated on sound quality?
Is it possible to do a sound test video with this?
You think it is reliable product to use for live concerts ?
hello I have a question I have 8 of those boxes which frequency cutoff recommends me in fullrange and frequency cutoff in bi-amp thanks
How are you liking them and what kind of setup are you running them in?
Full range
Please i would like to hear an updates on this video.
The 10" drivers were screwed in and not bolted in. How is it a good build quality?
I will like to know the country this speaker is made from and the price. Thanks

Thanks for the video. You answered several questions that I've had. Can you do a video with music, even if it's non copy right.
That would be great, if you give us your experience of how its sound and efficiently works?

Let's get some amplified versions of these and I'll be inline to get them!
Available now
So 1 to 10 do you recommend them
Do you think I can do a R&B festival with about 5000 people with eight of these
How’s the sound?
No audio test????? really????
good one

Paper cone woofers are no good if it rains, plastic woofer cones are water proof, so better for outdoor events.
You obviously just getting some ideas building speakers/speaker boxes.
If you had to equip a band what soundtown speakers would you recommend. Either passive or Active
Active all day long
