People on welfare by definition do not work; some of those legitimately cannot work. The rest basically have the time to do whatever they like ... So who is the rich? I'd say its the people on welfare even as they don't have material wealth. Time is worth a lot and its not fair the burden of paying for that time is on the back of the taxpayer with the exception of supporting those who legitimately cannot work.

Dear Mr. Gates, I work with disabled Americans in Portland, Oregon. In the past several years I have seen an explosion of homelessness among my clients. My clients all get Social Security or SSI benefits. We have enough vacant apartments in Portland to house all our homeless. Portland and Multnomah County own vacant land that could be used for trailers or tiny homes, but they do as little as possible. My homeless female clients have been raped and one female was murdered. Rich western countries have been giving money to poorer countries for a hundred years. All we have to show for it is millions more hungry poor people.
Poor countries have been giving that money right back to rich countries and then some. Most poor countries are quite heavily in debt. So who gives who money? I guess by your logic all the people on welfare are rich and tax payers are poor right?
@@Jimmy4video Consider that time is your only capital. Taxpayers work ... usually at least 40 hours a week and often more. Then add on commute time. People on welfare by definition do not work; some of those legitimately cannot work. The rest basically have the time to do whatever they like ... So who is the rich? I'd say its the people on welfare even as they don't have material wealth. Time is worth a lot and its not fair the burden of paying for that time is on the back of the taxpayer with the exception of supporting those who legitimately cannot work.
