𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙮𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙖 (𝘼𝙈𝘾) refers to the development of multiple joint contractures affecting two or more areas of the body prior to birth. A contracture occurs when a joint becomes permanently fixed in a bent or straightened position, which can impact the function and range of motion of the joint.
𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙮𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙨 (𝘼𝙈𝘾) एक जन्मजात बीमारी है। यह पैदा हुए बच्चे में कुरूपता का एक दुर्लभ कारण है। यह शरीर के दो या अधिक जोडों में सिकुडन का एक प्रमुख कारण है। यह पैरों की अत्यंत सख्त विकृति का कारण बनता है। इनका इलाज़ प्लास्टर से संभव नहो होता और ज्यादातर बच्चों में ऑपेरशन ही एक मात्र इलाज़ होता है । ऑपेरशन काफी जटिल होता है क्योंकि मांसपेशियों अत्यंत सख्त होति हैं। ऑपेरशन के बाद त्वचा काली भी पड़ सकती है।

A single stage correction was done by Dr Ratnav Ratan due to the practical problems of distance which precluded repeat travel, sequential plasters. Postoperatively as expected there was skin necrosis at the surgical site which subsequently healed and the child could walk for the first time in her life with a plantigrade feet, wear normal shoes like other kids. Life changing experience especially for the parents . It was dream come true for the parents who had run pillar to post for the treatment of the baby.
