In 1996, the compact point-and-shoot film camera Minolta TC-1 was released.
The selling price was JPY 148,000 (which, based on current exchange rates, is nearly AUD 1,500. Back then, it was probably considered a luxury camera 💸). Twenty-eight years later, this discontinued camera is sold at almost the same price in the second-hand market.
