This song is very clever lyrically. So much fun watching your face as you work through the permutations, right up to getting confirmation when you hear Karen Fairchild on the original. Whole new meaning when sung by a male. Bravo, Harry Styles.

Harry is one of the best pop vocalists out there. He is almost better live and rarely hits a bad note. He likes to play around with gender in songs and often covers songs sung by women without changing the gender. I really like “Falling” Live from the Brit Awards.

Girl Crush is probably my most favorite song from Little Big Town. Though to be honest I can't think of a single song of theirs I don't like. Hearing Harry Styles sing it kind of gives it a whole other meaning since it was originally sung by a female. He did a great job though.
My favorite song by Harry Styles is probably Sign of the Times. Definitely worth a listen. The song kicks you in the gut when you look at the lyrics and his range singing it is pretty amazing. Harry was part of the group One Direction which was created through X-Factor UK. I never really listened to the band, but the few songs I heard and liked, Harry really stood out vocally. Personally, I think he was the best of the group. My favorite song from that time is Story of My Life. Harry really shined in that song. I think he's done some amazing songs since he went solo.

I guess that's the great thing about music. Everyone has their own interpretation of the music based on who's singing it, and how it affects them. For me, the song took on a whole different meaning. But then, as a fiction author, I was already blown away by the song as sung by Karen from Little Big Town, and it inspired me to write a book that had nothing to do with the original meaning of the song.@@kellydannar2027
