Because I love BTTF so much and I would have LOVED to be there!! Yeah it was a little cheesy, but it was still cute! Anytime I hear the music I die a little so that's why also! Hahahahahaha
They couldn't get Christopher Lloyd? Or Michael J Fox? I'd settle for Crispin Glover. Better yet, have Thomas F Wilson get out of the De Lorean in his "Old Man Biff" makeup and have him say something like, this is not the future I remember, and then say, who are all you buttheads? I really think something this significant could have been planned better. The least Doc Brown could have done is give out unopened bottles of Pepsi Perfect to the crowd in attendance there.

I mean they probably both had to be all over to celebrate, so fitting them into the park might have been a challenge. Also if anything they might have appeared for the Hollywood opening then since I believe they both are in California.

They had the opportunity to have made the place where the movie was filmed (in Studios Hollywood) to look like the square of Hill Valley we saw in the future of Back to the Future 2. But instead of that they made this disappointing mini-show. Well below the tribute that deserves the best artwork ever made in the history of Universal.
