Hey Egils! A question: How can I lead my partner into a chasse in Waltz? If I dance with someone who doesn't know my routine they are often confused when I try to do a chasse. How can I signalise it better?

Thanks Nando for your question. When you dance Chasse in Waltz on 3rd step (closing of feet) you don’t lower but stay up and continue 4 step up and then lower. This is how you lead Lady by lowering at end of 4th Step. Hope it helps!

Yes, down, start rising at end of 1, continue rising on 2, continue rising on 3, up on 4, lower at end of 4. Footwork for Man in Progressive Chasse to Right: HT, T, T, TH
