Hi Bonnie, l picked up a Gemini Go after watching your tutorial. The magnetic plate you are using is it a shim or plate? I've only been able to find a thin shim but if there is a thicker magnetic plate l would like to order on. Thank you in advance and l love all your tutorials!
Hi Linda! It is a shim. I am using 5 plates. The four on bottom start with the clear plate, frosted plastic plate, metal shim and the magnetic plate. The purple plate sits on top. I haven’t had any issues with cutting and so have not looked into a thick metal plate. I love this machine! Hope that helps! Thanks for visiting me!
