Cooler is best and king of all coolers but but but..cleaning is a serious pain ...Crompton must update Optimus model and make this cooler easily openable for cleaning purpose..2nd point ..cooler plastic from inside is sharp.. so while cleaning maybe u face an injury on hands. 3rd and last point- Cooler distributes water on pads from big ice chamber ..plus point is if u put ice there then it will cool ur room in less time but in case if your cooler is on lil bit slop or not stand equally then water distribution on pads will effects which will directly effects cooling.. Crompton need to update this model and make it easy for cleaning ..that's my point..i have this cooler and after 1 year of usage I share my best experience.. after my true view u can buy this cooler.

Basics 1st:. Anyone using cooler should know the basic fact that cooling is only possible with proper ventilation from both sides. The back of cooler takes in air & water droplets throw out cool air provided there's opposite ventilation. Otherwise humidity will be more & skin will become sticky I expected techiebeez to have temperature reading before & as using cooler so that it would differentiate but it's not. The cost of this cooler is too high even with bells and whistles because except musquito net & water tap function, this brand has nothing to offer and at end of day, people use it for summer only & rest of year this is un-used furniture No power rating at all...!! If a reputed company is coming with high budget cooler and on reputed channel, they must tell power rating... Overall, if anyone wants to use cooler (and not living near seashore or radius of 5-7 kms area) they can simply go to any non-branded coolers which are available between 4000 to 5000 rupees budget and not waste over 10k rupees! Other things like honey comb, inverter..all can be had in normal coolers One more thing...at end of video they showed a plastic fan ...!! For such heavy budget, they should have kept modern air throwers and not clockwise fan..!! It seems this company has just put basic cooler things & put premium tag - which any cooler does with economical budget! Though you are correct in many regards, in India, most of the people use coolers to get relief from the heat. And then, there are many who wish for an aesthetically pleasing design that can complement their interiors. This AC is meant for those middle class people who desire an AC but the thought of a high electricity bill holds them back from doing so. And then, there are many who don't want to permanently fix the cooler at one place, they want to move it to different areas inside their house. For them, mobility is a priority and a beautifully designed cooler is an icing on the cake. I definitely agree with you that its price is on the higher side but its performance is much better than the plastic coolers that came some years back.

Room coolers are much less efficient than desert coolers. Room coolers keep on increasing humidity by circulating the same air over and over again which after a point increases humidity so much that it becomes uncomfortable and cooler actually starts making the room condition worse. Desert cooler are better as they don't circulate the same air again and again and humidity never increases beyond a point.
This desert cooler might be the best amongst plastic body coolers. However, its con is that you cannot compare the cooling of a plastic air cooler with that of a metallic body cooler!

Room cool hona main baat hai aur ye vo achhe se karta hai. Lekin agar aap ise bahar rakhe metallic body cooler se compare karenge toh performance waisa nahi milega.
