I have used LG & Daikin AC. Life of Daikin is much better than LG. All my LG AC had a cooling problem within the 1st 5 years & had to scrap it in the 6th Year insite of AMC from an Authorised dealer. Daikin, I have no problem since the past 6 years & cooling is very good.
I had been used LG inverter since 2016.replaced condenser in 2020 under warranty, now condenser once again leaked and outdoor base rusted, LG is asking 13 k repair so I scrapped it bought daikin after seeing this vid.
On the opposite end, I have an LG Window AC since 2002 and it worked till 2017. Then the compressor went kaboom. Right now I have 4 LG ACs. 2 purchased in 2018. 5 star 1.5 ton window ac and 5 star 1.5 ton split ac 2 purchased in 2024 3 star 1.5 ton split hot and cold ac x2 Never had any problems.

I have been using Daikin inverter ac which past 7 years... Never had a single issue. Daikin had excellent service and they are very responsive. I have personally had good experience Daikin specialize in air-conditioning unlike LG which is diversified business group I have spoken to some air-conditioning experts and they suggest mitsubishi electric and ogeneral as number one, followed by Daikin.

No doubts daikin is superior. Also it's cooling capacity is 5280 at 100% which is more than LG. Also I think daikin works upto 54 degress as compared to 52 degress of LG

I have been using LG Acs for the past 15 years. Currently I have 3 Split and 1 Window AC. They are very reliable and the after sales service is excellent. Spare parts are also reasonably priced. Go with LG instead of Daikin.
LG Ac cost includes installation plus their after-sales service is prompt and quick. Daikin ACs costs extra for installation which comes to around 2-3k for labour, plus the stand & pipes also costs close to 2k. And Daikin does not have authorized technicians, so its a bummer. When you compare costs, both eventually cost the same after installation. Despite Daikin having an edge over LG, the after-sales service of LG is much much better. So, it makes sense to purchase the Korean instead of the Japanese.

Indoor unit LG ka Zayada acha laga aur Outdoor Unit Daikin ka Zayada acha laga. No matter how sturdy LG ACs are, remember that they are not successful in rooms larger than 120 sq ft. I had one LG 2021 split dual invertor ac an it failed miserably to cool a 165 sq ft room which do not have any floors above it. I had another room and got the Carrier 5 star AC and the cooling is way better almost double of the LG AC. And note that I called the LG authorized service guys many times. but they were not able to help increase the cooling
Mitsubishi electric and Mitsubishi heavy duty and then o general are top 3 premium brands but only problem is service availability if in your area service is available then defiantly go for it because cooling is superb......

If your supply is tripping because the ac is consuming 1500w or 2000w then you need to immediately upgrade the electric supply. This feature has no use. Other than marketting meterial, it won't reduce your bill. The most it could be used for is if you are running the ac on a generator then you can use this to limit the ac input power in order to not overload the generetor. Again doesn't make sense most people won't be running ac on generator.
LG Viraat AC dekho, its double heavy then DAIKIN/Mitsubishi. LG service guys 1 hrs main aa jaate, DAIKIN waale aate hi nahi. I have 2 models of both LG and daikin, Home and office. LG service and waraany claims is WOW
Don’t trust those so-called experts on TH-cam. They'll say anything just to get views and run their channels. I bought a Daikin AC based on their recommendations, and it turned out to be the worst AC I’ve ever owned. The cooling performance was terrible, and I sold it after just a month. It's always better to experience these products firsthand by visiting friends who already have them.
Your videos are excellent. However, please do mention the gap between the fins. IMO, fins with less gap between them tend to get clogged with dust. Also please review acs with PM2.5 air filters. Most usual air filters are useless. They allow 95% dust to pass through them, which mixes with water and forms a slimy sludge on the drain tray, particularly in our Mumbai humid weather.
I have been using lg products for 20+ years and had no problem, i also bought a lg ac this year and it cool flawlessly, I don't know why lg gets made fun of in the comments when the commenters haven't used the lg product, why are they spreading misinformation if they haven't used the products.

pl help Sir, I had purchased on 2022 FTKZ 1.5 ton & it give excellent cooling, But now Purchased Daikin latest 1.5 ton FTKM model, but it extremely less cooling, also draw very electricity. Bhai yehi par to twist karta hai companies. 1.5 ton nehi 1.5 ton category bolta hai, 1.2 ton se jyada aur 1.8 ton niche 1.5 ton category hota hai. Ish liye aajkal tonnage dekh ke AC mat kharido, wattage dekh Lena chahiye. Maine bhi aise hi dhoka khaya last year. Lekin Mera room 140 sqft ki hai, aur jyada cooling Mera pasand nehi hai, ish liye kaam chala leta. Ek kaam karo, suru mein Viraat Mode pe daal do, jab Tak desire temperature achieve nehi hota tab tak viraat mode par rehne do. Desire temperature achieve hone pe 40% kar do. Energy consumption kam hi hota hai baki ACs ke muqabele mein. Ha chill cooling ke liye thoda waqt lagega, baki chal jate hai.
You got scammed by LG marketing. Happens to most people in our country. Meanwhile my 2018 Daikin AC has 5200W of cooling and is a true 1.5 ton AC. Japanese quality is always much superior to cheap Korean products like LG.

Daikin has better ODU, properly designed parts & PCB placement. Even IDU design & PCB placement is proper BUT their IDU plastic quality is not great. Its very flimsy.
I have a 2023 LG AC and 2018 Daikin. Daikin ODU is much superior in quality and is quite larger than LG. For IDU, I feel that Daikin has good quality and is better designed for real world use. The Daikin flaps may seem flimsy, but it's by design only, as this flexible flap is easier to remove during servicing. LG flap is hard and is very difficult to remove. Also, LG's convertible mode is 100% useless. I can explain why, but the comment will become too long.
The Daikin pcb is also using lot better components. From the video i noticed all nichicon capacitors in the Daikin. Meanwhile lg uses samwha (a part of samsung) , samwha capacitors are known for failure, so lg pcb may fail in 7-10yrs. Which is the maximum life of samwha capacitors in these high heat conditions.

AC is purchased for cooling and cooling capacity is under rated hence electrical cousumption will naturally be less which is again fooling the customer . but not sure what is 100% electrical load consumption in LG with lesser Cooling watts and what is amps current consumption at max rating. What is meant by dual inverter and what are its exact btu cooling spects and electctrical units consumed at full load for both dual compressor tonnage capacity. kitni hai 5280 cooling watts is exact 18000 btu ie 1.5 t and most companies loosely say 1.5 t but cooking capacity less than 5280 cooling watts. In fact both LG and Daikin some models earlier were only 4800 cooling watts ie 16398 btu . I am an engineer but fail to understand technically what is difference between 3 star and 5 star in electical kilo watt hour ie per hour electrical units when compressor is same model and indoor outdoor units are same quality and dimension size including the fan then what is the difference technically but 3 star and 5 star price is huge. In fact 3 stars should be banned by Govt as power wastage if its actually true saving and from what in design components.. Annual consumption kw units is a joke and misleading and it gets over in less than one month. Every electrical unit press or toaster has electrical units consumed and instead of making a fool of customers on max load electical consumption in kilo watts should be given . One check is current in amps 6.1 amps consumed on full load will result in bill saving in units. I had bought samsung ac 1.5 t but had to always run in turbo mode to cool properly. Also TCL 1.5 ton ac ultra compressor also cooled a much bigger room 18.5 x 13 ft ie 240 sq ft. but Daikin and all makes lg etc say room size is upto 150 sq mtr for 1.5 t is a big joke . ISEER rating for 5 start is ok for comparison along with annual kilo watts units. GAS should be r 32 and of course all coils indoor and outdoor only copper. Turbo mode is a must for instant cooling at high speed. Convertible mode tonnage can be a plus point provided cooling capacity is correct as per cooling watts and btu and will result in power bill saving to increase or reduce tonnage cooling capacity provided ac cools better which is primary design objective of ac and should work in high temp of 52 or 54 degrees weather in india in summers and also keeps electrical units consumption low less than 1300 kw ie 1.3 units consumption per hour.
I brought an lg 1 ton 5 star dual inverter AC. What I feel lg especially and other brands try to confuse customers based on creating various models but not much diff. It's very hard to understand and compare between models. My ac which i mentioned above is a 1 ton which shows 3500 watts on sticker but on the side it's written max cooling capacity is 3950. When I asked the sales exec he said it can be used as 1.2 ton AC. They say thing just like that to convince customer. And now everything needed to install an ac is chargeable even plug !! we have to buy. Just one question is it necessary to buy a voltage stabilizer for my 1 ton AC as it says there is a stabilizer in it already. Thanks.
I'm using LG but here Daikin is clear winner , as he missed more important Iseer rating which is more power efficient in Daikin . At the time of buying my AC Nobody told me about Iseer value I checked on 5 star .
Bro iseer value means how energy efficient is your ac is doesn't means if one ac give higher iseer value then it is best you have to consider overall performance....if you give so much importance to one parameter then Whirlpool AC gives you best iseer value than any brands .

If your supply is tripping because the ac is consuming 1500w or 2000w then you need to immediately upgrade the electric supply.
This feature has no use. Other than marketting meterial, it won't reduce your bill.
The most it could be used for is if you are running the ac on a generator then you can use this to limit the ac input power in order to not overload the generetor. Again doesn't make sense most people won't be running ac on generator.

Don’t trust those so-called experts on TH-cam. They'll say anything just to get views and run their channels. I bought a Daikin AC based on their recommendations, and it turned out to be the worst AC I’ve ever owned. The cooling performance was terrible, and I sold it after just a month. It's always better to experience these products firsthand by visiting friends who already have them.

Your videos are excellent. However, please do mention the gap between the fins. IMO, fins with less gap between them tend to get clogged with dust. Also please review acs with PM2.5 air filters. Most usual air filters are useless. They allow 95% dust to pass through them, which mixes with water and forms a slimy sludge on the drain tray, particularly in our Mumbai humid weather.

pl help Sir, I had purchased on 2022 FTKZ 1.5 ton & it give excellent cooling, But now Purchased Daikin latest 1.5 ton FTKM model, but it extremely less cooling, also draw very electricity. Daikin engineer visited check all but fault find , again they visit next week due to this issue.

I have lg 1.5 ton 3 star ac on label its cooling capacity is 4400 watt but its max. Cooling capacity is 5150 then is it really 1.5 ton ?? I buy it by seeing its model no. On model no its has 18 which show 18000 btu cooling which means 1.5 ton q18znxe model no. Solve my query. Although i watched some video which showing tha on viratt mode actually i will do max. Bhai yehi par to twist karta hai companies. 1.5 ton nehi 1.5 ton category bolta hai, 1.2 ton se jyada aur 1.8 ton niche 1.5 ton category hota hai. Ish liye aajkal tonnage dekh ke AC mat kharido, wattage dekh Lena chahiye. Maine bhi aise hi dhoka khaya last year. Lekin Mera room 140 sqft ki hai, aur jyada cooling Mera pasand nehi hai, ish liye kaam chala leta. Ek kaam karo, suru mein Viraat Mode pe daal do, jab Tak desire temperature achieve nehi hota tab tak viraat mode par rehne do. Desire temperature achieve hone pe 40% kar do. Energy consumption kam hi hota hai baki ACs ke muqabele mein. Ha chill cooling ke liye thoda waqt lagega, baki chal jate hai.
You got scammed by LG marketing. Happens to most people in our country. Meanwhile my 2018 Daikin AC has 5200W of cooling and is a true 1.5 ton AC.
Japanese quality is always much superior to cheap Korean products like LG.

I recently bought LG 1ton 5 star. But when i look at quality of Daikin outdoor unit as shown by you in above video, I feel Daikin choice would have been great too. Ab bhavishya me dusra lunga to Daikin will be my choice..
Daikin has better ODU, properly designed parts & PCB placement. Even IDU design & PCB placement is proper BUT their IDU plastic quality is not great. Its very flimsy.
I have a 2023 LG AC and 2018 Daikin. Daikin ODU is much superior in quality and is quite larger than LG.
For IDU, I feel that Daikin has good quality and is better designed for real world use. The Daikin flaps may seem flimsy, but it's by design only, as this flexible flap is easier to remove during servicing. LG flap is hard and is very difficult to remove.
Also, LG's convertible mode is 100% useless. I can explain why, but the comment will become too long.

The Daikin pcb is also using lot better components. From the video i noticed all nichicon capacitors in the Daikin. Meanwhile lg uses samwha (a part of samsung) , samwha capacitors are known for failure, so lg pcb may fail in 7-10yrs. Which is the maximum life of samwha capacitors in these high heat conditions.

sabsey important cheez bhai ney batayi which is good to reject LG AC . BTU is 17060 with cooling watts 5000 only loosely being called 1.5 tonne. AC is purchased for cooling and cooling capacity is under rated hence electrical cousumption will naturally be less which is again fooling the customer . but not sure what is 100% electrical load consumption in LG with lesser Cooling watts and what is amps current consumption at max rating. What is meant by dual inverter and what are its exact btu cooling spects and electctrical units consumed at full load for both dual compressor tonnage capacity. kitni hai 5280 cooling watts is exact 18000 btu ie 1.5 t and most companies loosely say 1.5 t but cooking capacity less than 5280 cooling watts. In fact both LG and Daikin some models earlier were only 4800 cooling watts ie 16398 btu . I am an engineer but fail to understand technically what is difference between 3 star and 5 star in electical kilo watt hour ie per hour electrical units when compressor is same model and indoor outdoor units are same quality and dimension size including the fan then what is the difference technically but 3 star and 5 star price is huge. In fact 3 stars should be banned by Govt as power wastage if its actually true saving and from what in design components.. Annual consumption kw units is a joke and misleading and it gets over in less than one month. Every electrical unit press or toaster has electrical units consumed and instead of making a fool of customers on max load electical consumption in kilo watts should be given . One check is current in amps 6.1 amps consumed on full load will result in bill saving in units. I had bought samsung ac 1.5 t but had to always run in turbo mode to cool properly. Also TCL 1.5 ton ac ultra compressor also cooled a much bigger room 18.5 x 13 ft ie 240 sq ft. but Daikin and all makes lg etc say room size is upto 150 sq mtr for 1.5 t is a big joke . ISEER rating for 5 start is ok for comparison along with annual kilo watts units. GAS should be r 32 and of course all coils indoor and outdoor only copper. Turbo mode is a must for instant cooling at high speed. Convertible mode tonnage can be a plus point provided cooling capacity is correct as per cooling watts and btu and will result in power bill saving to increase or reduce tonnage cooling capacity provided ac cools better which is primary design objective of ac and should work in high temp of 52 or 54 degrees weather in india in summers and also keeps electrical units consumption low less than 1300 kw ie 1.3 units consumption per hour.
I brought an lg 1 ton 5 star dual inverter AC. What I feel lg especially and other brands try to confuse customers based on creating various models but not much diff. It's very hard to understand and compare between models. My ac which i mentioned above is a 1 ton which shows 3500 watts on sticker but on the side it's written max cooling capacity is 3950. When I asked the sales exec he said it can be used as 1.2 ton AC. They say thing just like that to convince customer. And now everything needed to install an ac is chargeable even plug !! we have to buy. Just one question is it necessary to buy a voltage stabilizer for my 1 ton AC as it says there is a stabilizer in it already. Thanks.

Bro iseer value means how energy efficient is your ac is doesn't means if one ac give higher iseer value then it is best you have to consider overall performance....if you give so much importance to one parameter then Whirlpool AC gives you best iseer value than any brands .
