I have a pair of Conicus from you - they are cranky little souls, but I love them. Re: breeding, I obviously have zero experience, so there's that. But just based on observing their behavior - I'm thinking you temperature cycle them already, but I wonder if they'd respond better if they had the opportunity to burrow in a few inches of aspen?
Hi Gary! I love your videos! I would love to watch a clip about how to remove a male from the females cage if they are sitting on the same perch. I mean what is the least stressful way to do it? How to do it with a more deffensive male? I hope you can help me out! ;)
Very carefully! LOL Do it in the morning, wear gloves, and gently remove the male from the perch! (Unfortunately there is no simple solution.) Thanks for watching! G
Hey Gary, thanks for all the great info! you have been a huge help for me this year. I was curious to know what people mean by "going off feed" aside from the obvious. Do you offer her food and she simply wont take, or does she just stop hunting all together? Also how long of a time period until its a valid "off feed" amount? Thanks again!!
Hi, and thanks for watching! "Off feed" to me is when I offer food to a currently feeding female, and she shows no interest in eating. Once that occurs, I'll try her again a few days to a week later, and if she again refuses, I will deem her "off of feed". Some females will grab and wrap a prey item in typical fashion making it appear they will eat, only to drop the prey item and not eat it. Again, I will attempt to feed them again several days to a week later, and in most cases, they will completely refuse. Hope this helps!

I've noticed everytime I bath my snakes in warm water and pair them, They lock.
