The entire situation made me so frustrated to hear and the fact that people were so quick to jump on the hate wagon without hearing both sides of the story and leave such disgusting comments to her is so sad. The issue with Little Kitty goes beyond cause it's a prime example of modern day influencers who overshare everything online. She was already a famous influencer with a big following so naturally she'd share these things with them. I'm not saying it's right but I can understand why a famous influencer with a deteriorating mental state would do so. Also most of the issues started with her ex who began spreading lies about her to his fans online, so I stil put the blame on him mostly cause her response was naturally to defend herself.

Mortuary student here, and I might have an answer for the Half-Life 2 corpse. You are probably right in that it’s likely an image of a donated cadaver. We use them in my program as well, and one lesson actually requires significantly traumatizing the body in order to practice more advanced cosmetic restoration, especially the face.
That would explain why only the man’s face is damaged while the rest of his body is untouched. He may have been used for a lesson on facial reconstruction of burn victims.

Someone can actually have their face burnt out while having the other parts intact if they simply pass out near a stove, and their face falls right on it. There are similar cases of people with health conditions which make them faint without a warning, and that can happen near a stove, and without having anyone else at the house to come for rescue.. one can simply end up like that.

If the case in question happened in 1985, and he was at the end of his high school days at the time, the suspect was likely born between 1966 and 1968, making him the same age as Salma Hayek or Paul Rudd. I've gone through a few years of extremely targeted online bullying too, beginning when our toxic little online friend's group's leader got really mad that I didn't kiss her ring the way she wanted to, and then started a campaign of lies upon lies. I know this is what happened because while none of my friends sans one took my side (and got ousted for it), one by one the remaining people caught on to her bullshit as well, and were slandered and ousted for it. I know it because years later the very person offered a public apology that was meant to be vague for everybody else but the person meant to receive it due to some details. By then though it'd been years, my online presence as an artist, and thus my money making ability was destroyed and I had quit college to drink myself into stupor. Couldn't really back away either because like I said, my bills were paid by online art commissions.
I mostly stayed silent through it after a first few months because I know that narcs like the person eventually leave you be if you don't take the bait, but like... how could you not defend yourself when you're slandered in public and your income is dependent on the internet.
People, I think, are naturally cruel, and will act on that cruelty the moment they think they can get away with it either anonymously or with overwhelming support. Even I have that streak in me, or at least used to when I was younger, before I got raked over the coals for years. It's all ugly. I survived without unaliving out of sheer spite, no way was I going to gift them my unaliving to mock or to exploit on a silver platter.
Doing much better than they are these days, my reputation's restored, and those people are no longer relevant in the space we shared. It's made me cynical, paranoid and extremely careful, though.

In the final story, the thing that has me dubious is the recency of the year. In 1985, the neighbor would have been 15 years old as a freshman, which means he'd only be 53 today; usually too young for retirement. Also, the Muncie police already have a suspect in mind as of 2014, but they're still working on putting the case together, and the suspect, of course, hasn't been named.
That case was the talk of the town when it happened, and everything OP said was written in newspapers. I find it suspicious that they didn't identify any of those missing items, but wouldn't the most convincing evidence be items the perpetrator kept that weren't disclosed to the public? Seems like someone trying to get attention, which is why they deleted the post once people started looking into it.

If the earliest he could join the military is 1988 (18 years old), he'd have had 30-some-odd opportunities to be 1 of 300 who made it through exams and training.

yes, exactly! there are lots of different motives for sh, but they’re all just as serious. a lot of people don’t seem to understand that you need to be in a very low mental state to turn to sh in the first place, nobody randomly wakes up one day and just decides to do it for fun. it’s a maladaptive coping mechanism, something that your brain only turns to when you feel like you don’t have any other options.
‘for attention’ is such a misinterpreted phrase when it comes to cutting, because it’s not the type of attention that these condescending people are belittling it to be. if you just want to feel a little special for a bit, there are a million other methods that you would turn to, you’d have no reason to jump to hurting yourself. someone who cuts ‘for attention’ is at their last resort, and they are desperate to get someone to notice that they need serious help before it’s too late. physical injuries are often taken more seriously than mental ones, so if no one notices or understands that they’re struggling mentally, then they might resort to hurting their body in order to show that they need help.
regardless of why someone did it, they still have self-inflicted wounds on their body at the end of the day. if someone’s wrists are bleeding and they need medical attention, you’re not gonna tell the EMT ‘oh, don’t take them seriously, they only did it for attention’. it’s just ridiculous…

Also another interesting thing is, that wife of the thief also said that little kitty's ash was a prime target in their field ever since she was pronounce dead, and said the person who reported them was a jealous rival, and she also has the audacity to complain that in the end, no one even wants little kitty after she died.

As someone that is fan of various Chinese, Korean and Japanese artists i see similar cases of people being pushed and branded as evil by one single story. Is almost as if everyone is waiting for 1 thing to catch on to them burn everything down. Ive seen careers being ended and like poor Little Kitty, lives lost. Always remember that when several people are involved there is always more than one side to the story. Think before pointing your finger.

The reason being all the 'evidence' is readily available information one can get from news sources -- such as which items were taken, how the car was found, etc. The police will ask OP questions to try and confirmed some piece of info only the killer or someone who's worked on the case would know (evidence not released to the press). This happens all the time in cases, because a shocking number of people will falsely confess to a murder. I wonder if OP realized people were going to try and fact check their story and got spooked at the mention of the FBI.

Divorce rates were lower because women literally couldn’t leave because up until the 70s. They couldn’t even have their own bank account without their husband signing off on it. Many employment fields would not accept females outside of very low paying entry-level jobs. So you just stayed in your horrible marriage because you didn’t have any alternative.

Sending unconditional love, compassion, kindness and respect to Kitty. I am utterly disgusted at her tormentors. May each and every one of them experience deep regret and remorse for their actions for the rest of their lives as according to the law of karma. You will always get back what you gave out to others. Trolls have no place left on earth. If you can't be kind, then you will have to leave earth immediately.

Depressed people sadly usually seek the wrong kinds of relationships. And sadly, when they get out of one, they often go right back to another. It's really tragic.
I used to idealize meeting such a person thinking I could save her. That was stupid and I learned with time that you cannot save anyone, you can only help them save themselves - and sometimes they don't want to.
Also before loving someone else, you have to love yourself first. And helping someone depressed is a huge burden. It gets really really tough. It eats at you and can make you depressed too. I was stupidly idealizing it, but in reality it slowly drives you insane.
Idk why I'm saying all that lol but if that helps someone, good :P

Depressed people also often feel shame about their condition, which makes it hard for them to speak about it and get the help they need. The last thing they need is their favourite TH-camr censoring the word ‘depression’ like it’s some terrible word that shouldn’t be spoken out loud. Nobody else does it so I’ve no idea why he thought it was in any way the right thing to do.

i wish ppl would stop playing savior and think they can help and save depressed ppl. it's so irresponsible and harmful. honestly, as a depressed person myself, those types of ppl are the worst. they come into your life promising to always be there, swearing their love or friendship etc only to disappear after a month cuz it turned out not as cute and simple and they thought it would be. spoiler - depressed ppl wont magically get better just cuz you wanted to stroke your ego, to play savior and thought that saying "you will be fine, everything will be okay, you gotta love yourself, dont think of negative things, im here for you" will cure their depression lmao i understand that they simply overestimated their abilities, their will to commit their time and efforts on some person but damn, it doesn't make it any less painful for me or their victims. cuz it looks like ppl are leaving you cuz your insufferable, you hate and blame yourself even more, you feel like society tries to convince you that ppl like you simple dont deserve to have friends or family (because they dont know how to deal with you) when in reality they leave cuz they are irresponsible and didnt make a proper research on what depression is. or they have a savior complex. and i dont need a savior. i just need a CONVERSATION. human interaction.
NOTHING you say will cure depression because it's about brain chemistry. most ppl cant even remotely understand how devastatingly painful it is to keep meeting ppl who act friendly only to turn against you very soon, because apparently they are pissed at you that their nice words and a pat on the back didnt cure your depression in an instant💀they start saying "oh you just dont want to get better, you dont do shit to heal" bla bla. excellent, now from trying to be a friend they turned to blaming you for having this condition🤦‍♀and assuming that if you are depressed for years, you simple "dont do anything". from my personal experience id say i do A LOT simply by surviving through the next day with all the thoughts and trauma. ppl dont have a right to say anything if they arent depressed themselves, and even if they do, their experience doesnt apply to others. what works for you doesnt work for others. i also met a lot of depressed ppl who ridiculed me because apparently, they just "meditated" and did some exercises and it helped them heal. well good for you, but newsflash - not everyone's condition is as light as yours, to be treated so easily. not even talking about how ppl mix up being down, sad, or grieving (which is all natural) with depression🤦‍♀ppl stroll into my life thinking they give me some advice and my life will be fixed in a few days, but if there was a quick fix, i'd already used it long damn time ago
geez, i know its a long rant but my whole life i simply wanted to make friends, and every dang time i was ruined by someone who thought they will fix me, but they couldnt and blamed it all on me. it hurts so much that idk how im still here. and im sure there are many others who can relate

I certainly think Kitty had decided not to drink the pesticide (horrible way to die, by the way) but that the people pushing her to do it is what ultimately changed her mind. Regardless of whether or not she was going to do it or if it was just simply for attention, people literally went far out of their way to push her over the edge knowing she was already brittle/unstable. Social media is so toxic.
