    Learned everything I know so far from this guy. First time gardening ever was with gutters, indoors. Had 40+ lettuce and some spices growing all on two shelves in my apartment. This year I have a yard, I can’t WAIT to expand the operation 😁 especially with the price of groceries now!

      Seedlings have everything they need food wise for the first couple weeks to a month of growing just add water, hes probably using a cut down version like 1/4 strength then as they grow you can up it to half then full, things like lettuce and leafy greens aren't as nutrient hungry as flowering plants that produce fruit, tomatoes being one of the hungriest.

    I live in Texas and I've not been able to get any plants to produce anything but buds in the last 2 years. My grand parent's garden was in red sandy soil and they didn't spend hours a week tending it. They tilled, sowed, watered, gleaned, and always had abundant harvests. I can't tell you how much money I invested in soils, composts, fertilizers, tools, containers, and hundreds of hours of prepping and planting with nothing to show for it. With 4 grandsons, I can get plenty of juice and milk jugs, but I don't have the tools to make the drainspout gardens, which seem to take up less space. 🤔

    @thematronsmilitia 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think with so many little reservoirs you will have limited productivity and struggle to balance ph, resulting in waste from needing to change the water more frequently. If you took full length gutters or pool noodles and trickled water through them with a pump or from one reservoir to another moved back up with a bucket, you would have better oxygenation of the roots and it would be easier to manage the solution

    • @KeepOnGrowin
      @KeepOnGrowin  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can if you like. I think you misunderstood. There is only one reservoir and I have never balanced my pH. Check out a few more videos if you are confused.
