Idk if u already knows this but staying ur builder during the waves boost ur towers, cant really explain more but if u build a tower in ur tavern and swap heroes u can see its different

Given enough time, players will optimize the fun out of a game.
I love the way you play at your own pace, figuring things out on your own!
Watching the whole playlist from start to (current) finish!

GGs on level 70! This video provided a lot of context on the way you play the game, it reminds me that I did this as well at one point, and that we all have our own journey!

I think getting the nessie pet would be a huge step forward in terms of progress for you. The best advice I could offer for having an easier time on survivals though would definitely be to have a monk levelled up to the point you unlock the strength drain aura. Even just plopping one of those down on each choke point with an ensnare aura drastically cuts back on the ability of every mob to swiftly output damage on your towers, and could even be enough to clear some of the harder difficulties. Keep up the videos, and definitely keep the variety coming every so often! I enjoyed seeing the Backyard Baseball video yesterday!

Gotta say, after all these videos being such a huge trip down memory lane, you’ve convinced me through your gameplay to buy a 360 to relive my childhood. Thank you Pat, seriously. This series is everything I’d hoped for

Regarding leveling other characters, I can definitely tell you that by the point you'll want other builders, you will be able to level them in no time, rendering any effort you may put in here to level them quite obsolete. Reason for that being that xp starts ramping like crazy on more difficult maps and higher difficulties. You just reached level 70, which is just over 3M xp, as a comparison, you'll need around 18M for level 74 and over 70M for 78. And there are ways to get that xp a lot faster, so I wouldn't sweat it too much when it comes to adding your huntress to your survivals etc... You are just adding hp to enemies (unless you want the extra reward at the end of a survival, in which case you'd want to add splits for that last wave. For pets that drop before the last wave of survival, you can just add your other characters during the wave before, since they are rewarded for reaching the wave they are rewarded on.

Ayy Pay, great video, nice one on reaching level 70!
I'mma post this comment here too as I think you'll maybe related to me once you hit the same things, posted it in Beeps comment section (one of the more active community contributors)
I got back into this game after not having played since 2013 or thereabouts.
Lots have changed, I felt a bit dirty hearing about these strats as for me they felt like "cheese" or just skipping content, but, honestly, after playing through the whole campaign on insane, I didn't know what to do? like, there's this post 60 gap that there's just no solid path, the dlc content is near impossible without leveling more than one char to 60 and doin a perfect build for quest for eternia, the maps that say they're rec level 60 and are bonus are no where near possible for a level 60, generally felt lost, was just doin old maps and challenges, tryna min max my gear, got to 600 stats on damage ev with just loot from glitter caverns.
Eventually, I realised I feel like I'm just not crossing a border I needed to cross, obviously, level 74; I could've hit it via glitter or whatnot; I was 73 without touching any cheese, but, then how would I obtain 74 gear as a fresh 74? doing the regular campaign on nightmare was... a nightmare, I could barely do deeper wells on nightmare and that dropped some 74 gear but very crap 74 gear.
To conclude, I gave in; I did tinkers on Nightmare HC because I didn't see another route that wasn't EXTREMELY slow or downright painful, it feels weird that what I would consider "cheese" is the correct way to cross that horizon?
Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm playing the game wrong.
I am coming from the PS3 era where the newest DLC was quest for Eternia p1 a feckin giraffe on a treadmill + web shooter was end game lol; the game nowadays feels very different; maybe I need to ditch the nostalgia and change my mindset.

Another note if youre interested, hold cntrl to upgrade armor or hero levels 50 at a time and shift to do it 10 at a time. Just in case you want all points into the same stat

have you considered streaming dungeon defenders? I have a tip for xp grinding, but it is really repetitive and I don't think it would make a good dedicated video. you could save the vod and still upload it to still post the progression, but I think streaming this would be the most ingaging:
    Glitterhelm Caverns Hard/Insane.
there are some pretty simple squire only builds out there, and you can get millions of xp per completion (I think I've gotten 3mil once on insane) this is also an easy way to level up other heroes by multiboxing.

Don't think I've really seen you do this. But like in the Hall of Court section you placed bowling ball turrets and you weren't sure how well they did in that spot. You can always press E on a tower and see the stats. I use that info to see what towers aren't being helpful in XYZ spot or so with how many kills it has.
Also, you should customize your crystal, I'm pretty sure some of your achievements have unlocked some. You can edit it when you're picking your character before you load into your tavern. Give it a shot, see if you like any that ya have c:

You just made me want to play dungeon defenders again. 😅 But all my toons are lvl 100 so i think about deleting them all and start fresh. Though this game is quite the grind when it comes to gear sets.

I personally think your heroes are very capable of beating deeperwell survival on easy as is (you have defeated another survival after all).
Also, I was replaced! Woo \o/ lol
