      Might want to give a few extra strikes for that to ensure it goes deep enough. Or have hints after each strike. Something to keep it going. But that would be really fun. If you want to get really hard, could do stat leaders by year. WAR probably would be the easiest, because you just have to think of who was the best at the time. But HR or hits or other such stats would be hard.

      @Demoralized88 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find it funny and kind of interesting that everybody ignores and doesn't care about the 60s-80s for all the big sports. The 70s especially are like a forgotten era in NBA and MLB and I'm not entirely sure why when at least a little respect was given to players up to the 50s. I consider the mid-90s the starting point in MLB/NBA to be roughly comparable enough to compare players.

    • @SystemsAlliance
      @SystemsAlliance ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Demoralized88 It just doesn't feel like there were a lot of stars from the era vs other eras, definitely feels like fewer HOFers, not a ton of big personalities that transcended into society. Pete Rose was the best and well, sad story. People never reference that era. Players (people) also looked awful. 25 year olds looked 40. 40 year olds looked 55. Fashion was bad. Just a lot of bad haha. I mean, Jim Rice was a heavy hitter in his time and got into the HOF but barely because even though he led the league in several categories, his numbers by comparison weren't that great to other eras top players.

I know Jomboy is a lot younger than me (I’m 53), but still, kinda surprising that Blue Jays was only a guess for him in ‘93, since Joe Carter hit one of only two World Series-winning walk-off home runs in history, and that he got ‘91 wrong, since Twins-Braves is generally considered the second greatest World Series of all time.

    Down on strikes after 37 correct answers, which is way more than I was expecting to get, but I would never have guessed the Tigers in '84 because I thought they hadn't won since '68. Going back to 1922, I also know the winners in 1982, 1980, 1969, 1968, 1967, 1964, 1960, 1947, 1946, 1944, 1943, 1942, 1934, 1931, and 1926 offhand, which might give away to at least one astute reader which team I root for. But I would never have gotten through the '70s-I know the Reds and O's won a few but not which ones.
    Edit: I beat everybody except Lucas, including Jimmy, which shocks me considerably considering most of them have a bunch of years on me (and would know when the Yanks won and lost, presumably)

    I made it to 1990. Honestly forgot the Reds have won anything after the 1970s dynasty. I would've gotten most of the 80s but Jesus 1931 is insanity. I could do all NFL champions in the Super Bowl era (1966-) but def not that far back. Lucas went God Mode.

    Lucas is the man. I tap out around 1970, I know the teams that were good but don't know the exact years. Can't believe these baseball fans can't get out of this millennium though, lol... bad memories?

    You guys aren’t even actually Yankee fans. You’re winning baseball fans. That’s why you’ve been so miserable and why it USED to be so easy to just “be a Yankees fan” you’re just fans of winning games. Fair weather

    Jomboy vibes. I made it through my lifetime just fine, which is up to 1986, and then gradually fell apart with 1980, 1976, and 1970.

    Bruh I thought listing 65-2023 was impressive , and Lucas just absolutely made me feel like I know nothing

    We need a Jomboy breakdown of Lucas taking everyone down. Have split screens of everyone else struggling to get through 2005-06 and Lucas is just mowing through each decade like its nothing.
