Glad to find your channel I want to make one for is bandana thank you so much for your time and help with your video and God bless you and your family always ❣️
Can you make one of these for a 1 year old baby that ties under the chin. Prefer a tighter crochet pattern and then I want 4 curlie cues hanging across the back.
Hello, I am not sure do I understand exactly how this looks. Also, hard to make if I can't try on. Seems not hard to make but I still do not understand in the end how this looks.
what size yarn do we use? I used a little larger and made less rows but then the clasp part does not look right. Please help. I see you say use 100g /300 m what size yarn is it 3, 4,? My end rows do not look right (the triangle part) because you nee at least 16 rows to get the look you get at the ends, no? I love that you show the stitches on the video part.
@@HappyCrochetClub thank you for the 3! I'm retrying. Your picture looks so good and looks thicker. Here's the issue with the larger yarn, we make less rows (12 instead of 16) and then in that case, the ends come out to be less rows. So instead of 16, it's 11, 10, etc and therefore the ends don't have the same "longer" look that your 2 ends do (the triangle parts). Does that make sense? How can I use thicker yarn but keep the ends like yours?
@@elainem9774 I do not remember maybe this yarn was DK #3 but there can be 250m in 100g ball. a little bit thicker. This DK#3 yarns have different thicknesses. All videos on my channel have #3 yarn only a few adult hats have #4. I buy one the same Brand yarn now, but also white color yarn always thicker and for example silver color thinner. I do not know why. In my video, I see I started with 15 sc, if you start with 12 stitches, then your headband triangle will be fewer rows less to get 1 stitch in the end. 3 rows less and then your triangle came out smaller. Maybe check, NO need for each round Chain 1, turn, just finish round and turn straight away, then skip the very first stitch. ( check this part do you do it correctly?)
@@HappyCrochetClub hi, yep no ch1 turn. I followed it exactly. How many rows are your triangles? yours looks so much thicker. Maybe it's the video. I am trying another yarn. I love the look of this and was hoping to get it to work. When I do size 3 my 14 rows is wider than 6 inches. So I am trying to use a smaller hook now. Do you have an email or website? Also, what is the brand name of your yarn, are you in the US? I really appreciate you as a designer getting back to us!!
@@elainem9774 I think there are 14 rows. If you like thicker then with a smaller hook your triangle will be smaller. So this doesn't work. I do not have a website, because I do not have time. This channel is just my hobby, In the week I work and when I have free time I create patterns and record videos only. My yarn is Stylecraft yarn. and I am in the UK. This why, I do not replay to you in time, we have a time difference of maybe 7h.
I do not remember exactly for this headband, but I think New Fashion yarn. Normally I use Stylecraft yarn last 2 years' videos. You are right, Red heart yarn is not stretchy, I tried once and I returned back to Stylecraft yarn. I am in the UK and bought it on eBay.
Just subbed ur voice is so relaxing and I like we get to watch u do it over and over for practice thanks beginner here can u show me how u how’ve the yarn I can’t get it right keep falling off finger
Hi Happy, I like a lot this hairband, it looks like several I crocheted a long time ago, is very easy, I'm going to crochet it and at the end I'll make an i-cord on each extreme, ¿where are you from?. Thank you and greetings 😊
Hello, Carol. Thank you for watching my channel. All my patterns I using the same yarn Double knit 100g ball 300m/ 23sts 30 rows to 10cm/4" or Nr 3 if US Exactly for this pattern no important what yarn you will use you can easy make from thin yarn just need to make more rows. I made from Acrylic just a show pattern. You can make from cotton yarn. just when you start crochet need increase more stitches until you have triangle how wide you like to see your headband and then start this net part. When you will do you can ask me questions again in process.
Very pretty and super easy. Thank you for sharing. ♥️ It would be helpful to see how it is used. Is this best for long hair? How does it look for short hair? I'm very curious.
Thank you for comment. Oh I never thought about it. Good question :) When you finish lacy part, start 1st row with sc like I do, next row all row you can try make sc2tog and then next rows like I do skip 1st stitch and continue with sc, then this part will be smaller and maybe better for short hair.
I have a question about this pattern. Is it necessary to skip five chains at the beginning and then do the skip two and single crochet into the third stitch. Can I just do the skip two and go into the third stitch from the beginning and can this be made longer as far as the mesh being more than fourteen rows? I'm growing my hair out and head wraps such as these help stop my migraines.
You can do how you like. Ch 5 is only for 1st row = Ch 3 +dc in space for next rows. This hole size Ch 5 will be the same size of hole Ch 3 and dc. Yes you can make how long you need. After you finish your Ch then you need do + Ch 2 if you do not want Ch 5 but then this hole will be smaller then others.
I'm making this for a friend. Love this pattern! Thank you for sharing!

I use size 3 yarn. Double knit or light worsted. these ends you can do with smaller crochet hook. try with 3.50mm.
