Hi Amanda, thanks for taking the time to do this video. I am brand new to AI and Glowforge this week. Im curious, what would the cut process look like on the unicorn image? There is a lot of content with the various lines, would it have just cut out the perimeter? I hope that question makes sense. Just trying to determined what GF will cut vs. leave by looking at the traced image on the bed.
Is there a way to cut the outside border and score the lines on the inside? If we wanted to turn images in to coloring files for our daughters, how do we get just the outline to cut and the details to score?
Hi Amanda- quick question- when you pull the unicorn SVG over to GF- it has all those grey areas (as you didn't 'pop' them out in illustrator) what does GF do with the grey areas if you set it to engrave? Does it ignore the areas and just engrave/cut the lines (depending on what you tell it...)?
When you are describing how to remove the box around the heart, you do it so fast, i cannot figure it out..i mean i can just "ignore" that in GF I just want to know how to do it..You like click and its gone, you dont really show how to do it. i mean i clicked also and nothing happens..where do you click? what do you click? it looks like you just clicked randomly and it dissapeared..very annoying..
Would love to see that on illustrator iPad.
Would like to see how it looked cut out and engraved would been cool at the end of the video

It wouldn’t cut just the perimeter it would cut everything. Glowforge now has an outline feature were you can outline your image and cut it out.

Courtney Whetzel it will upload them and you can engrave them or select ignore.

I click delete on the keyboard once I select it. Sorry for any confusion
