If it's done reyt, meat production can be carbon negative; putting all the carbon in your muck into the soil and keeping it there for a few years makes up for the fossil carbon, methane and NOx that come from its production.

Hi Joe, little one doing OK I hope 😊 , one of my jobs on the 2 farms was to bring all the straw back using 4 wheel trailers and we had a few of them and I think the secret is taking it slowly when reversing its quicker than having to go forward for another try lots of times gets your mind used to going the opposite way to what your used to doing with a 2 wheeler in the end I got quicker, keep up your fantastic channel its 1 of the 2 best in my view , can't leave Olly out 😊 thanks mate

What is the gross weight of Tractor and Big Bertha when fully loaded.
You need to line the concrete panals with a black sheet if the gaps are big.
Expanding foam is needed to fill in the big cracks in concrete panels
I think disease can stay in the foam though can’t it?

We only use hay/straw wagons with dollys in our area. In my opion way better than those big uk style trailers, those put more weight on the tractor. I'll dm/tag you on instagram with what i used this week for a load of straw. But most of our straw will come by walking floor trailers from germany (im from the Netherlands). Pricewise its hardly more expensive than local straw, but it's less work and less cleaning the yard 😅
The dolly is great until it gets to be a wet time… because they don’t put weight on the tractor it can struggles to pull them when trailer sinks in.
@@joeseels yep, in that case less weight on the tractor is a downside. But like my old man once said "when it's wet in the field, you don't go in the field" 😅. What i don't like about trailers around here are the tyres. Just stock truck tyres, mostly duals, but still.. when you see the huge low impact/flotation tyres on tractors/harvesters/combines/balers etc. And then you put 15 tons on a bale trailer on trucktyres or, even worse, supersingles (even on asphalt they are worse than duals, but less weight and that counts for trucks)... but you hardly see good tyres on bale trailers around here..
ANdy done a better job at reversing the trailer than I could do and thats on Farm simulator so can manipulate the camera angles lol

Hi do the cows stay inside all the time? Do they get cleared out?
Ones inside are finishing cattle, we buy them off grass to put the last bit of fat on, keep them up to 90 days… so we always have cattle in, but not the same cattle. 😀
