I wish we had more in Vegas. We had thousands of them everywhere but the beautification committee cut down all the big trees.

You are disgusting! I watched the birds in Austin Texas and the next morning a grackle tried attacking a person in front of me on the side walk then it came after me and hit my head! I had short blonde hair and it literally was the birds! And they are taking over in Utah and Idaho now and so annoying and how do people like them!? You probably like saving grizzly bears yet killing seahorses too. Makes so much sense not! Do you like tattoos and cheap junk too? To each their own!

The same goes for me. In the past two weeks, I've finally broken the ice with them, after about a year. I throw fruit on the roof, they come down from the tree and eat. Then I throw some more on the ground, and go right back in the house.
I come back 10 minutes later, and they don't fly away. It's all about the psychology.
This morning one sat on the lowest branch of one of the sidewalk trees and ate grapes for 20 minutes.
I’m assuming one has not flown down and attacked your head while you had short platinum hair after watching the birds for the first time in Austin, Texas? They are so annoying and evil!!

They don't bother me
San Antonio grackles became so notorious that a city councilman introduced a bill approving mass extermination of the grackles. The attempt failed. San Antonio folks hate the grackles but grudgingly put up with them
