How do you display your LEGO? Also want to note that like I mention in the video, this is just one way/one company that you can display LEGO with. I'm aware of others like Wicked Brick that also make display stands and cases. Do you want a follow-up video comparing other display brands?
You might want to pin this David if you want people to see this! Wondering about the cost of shipping for this product. Would have been useful to include that as well as that would be a factor especially coming from Europe to North America.
This is the video I’ve been looking for for years!!! My shelves are seriously overflowing with my Lego sets and I really need cases and stands for them!!!
I have nowhere to put the cases and stands. I wish I had another room to use, like a Lego room. I'm always jealous of these TH-camrs who have like 10 UCS sets and can afford to buy several of the same set (like 10 TIE Fighters for example). I can't spare the space.
SHIPPING UPDATE: So for those asking about SHIPPING COST, for one Display Stand to the Midwestern US is about $22. As for regions farther or closer it's probably near the same. Hope this helps!
I love this company. They have very high quality products which answers to the price. I have the Millennium Falcon display case like David does and I recommend it. I could tell which company it was once I saw the box.
David you can also use these display stands for mandalore because you can with 4 of them make a republic gunship fly and for the mandalorian gunship yuo can use 2-3 of them. That's a fantastic chance. But this is something you should make at the final build of mandalore. A friendly hello from Germany =) =) =) =) =) =) =) =)
thats what I've been thinking for a while, especially if the base is "buried' someway. would have been good for Crait, hidden with salt pieces, although 12cm might not be tall enough, Scarif, base hidden under the water, sand or undergrowth. minimal and angled would add something to the mock, prob not for purists, but in the same category as lights and murials. My little boy has 10 x-wings now, 7 customs, would love to recreate the scene where Poe and the resistance come flying in to the rescue over grey waters using something like these. Shame they don't have taller, or a straight option available as alternatives
A couple weeks ago I tried to buy from them, they have some awesome display solutions! Unfortunately since they’re based in the UK the shipping is insanely expensive. Hopefully they can expand soon so shipping drops a little.
I love that intro and the video, I have never got any display stand/cases but now I really want some, it would really help with my set displays (it would really help with my siblings witch like to nab little parts of sets!!!)
Yes ! Finally I have the solution for my Lego! I’ve been looking around the web for sooo many days...and in five minutes watching your awesome video I found the solution. Great and helpful video ! That website is fantastic ! By the way you have a new subscriber 🤟😉
I absolutely love display stands and cases for Lego and would love some for myself. However, the problem is that they're in the UK which means shipping is going to be insane. About 2 months ago I was also looking into a different Lego display company, but they're also in the UK, so I didn't buy. Nevertheless, these things are epic!
Maybe you can build your own lego case, it's possible to buy acrilic panel at the store, there is probablie a tutorial on internet to make them, you juste need a bit more time i think, but in the end it will cost less money
I bought an IDisplayIt case for the Hogwarts Castle because it's so tall and fragile and love it. I have not bought one for the Falcon on Star Destroyer as it adds a lot of width to the set and will require more room to display it. That being said, the quality of the one I did get is awesome!
i just got the ucs falcon, still need to build it, but the only place i have to put it is under my lego table, so im going to get this case to keep it in
Also check out the Space Holder from the FiguWorld series. From there I bought a display tower for my minifigures. The tower can be turned wonderfully. Maybe that would be something
Acrylic I’m not inherently UV-blocking. However polycarbonate is. They should be making them from polycarbonate. The reason they don’t is because acrylic is easy to work with sheets and cut to size and easy to acrylic cement, so it’s cheaper to make custom and smaller quantities
The best way to prevent dust from getting on your LEGO sets is to stop your skin cells from dying. Dead skin cells are the main cause of dust. The only problem is, you can't stop your skin cells from dying...
I just tried to wipe dust off my sets yesterday and it was HORRIBLE. The UCS Super Star Destroyer ended up making a whole handful of brown fluff. I have way too many Lego sets in my room and some are in places I can't really reach, so I can't keep on top of them very easily. It doesn't help that I have both asthma and allergies too.
As soon as you removed the protective foil it became a dustmagnet. The whole thing charged up with electrostatic energy. No way to keep out dust from the acril itself. Good luck to clean it with a piece of cloth. Also one simple wipe is enough to scratch it. It's a no from me
I’ve been wanting display cases for all my sets and I’ve found 3-4 different companies that make them. But they’re so expensive, and the ones in the uk cost so much to ship, plus there’s the risk of damage while shipping. Even the company’s in the us are still expensive. I’ve been waiting for these companies to release a case for the ventador but from my estimations it’s definitely gonna be at least half of what the set even costs. So I’ve done some research and decided I’m going to make my own cases. So far my price estimates for making my own are almost under 100 bucks for all my sets. However I am planning on buying display stands for all of them but those aren’t nearly as expensive
Ive been 3d printing stands for my starfighers and they look really good, found some great ones on thingiverse. if youre willing to drop this kind of money on legos, less than 200 dollars for an ender 3 is a great investment as well.
My main issue is only having one bedroom to work with, and it's already pretty full. I have the new UCS Star Destroyer on the way, and I just about made room for it, but after that I'm stuck.
Have the same problem wanting ninjago city docks and ninjago city gardens. I already have the city Nd want the other 2 but don't know how to display all 3
That MF display case looks amazing with the black base. All the stands really improved the display appeal of all the sets. I wouldn't have the space for any of this atm anyway.
@@vladimirchervenkov6949 It was pulled down by Ryan so you can no longer watch it but it addressed that fact that he felt some LEGO TH-cam channels are not be upfront/and clear about when they receive product for free.
Stephen Zacharias wow what a guy. I hate ryan. Never liked his channel due to him posting negative content from time to time. This just makes me think even less of him
Yes, bought for my lad when he bought his first massive Lego pirate ship, mostly because it's from dust. Since, bought the Lego Gauntlet and Razor Crest had to buy the case. Otherwise I would be the one trying to keep it dust free 🤔 I, prefer the white bottom. Each to their own. Purchased in England
After I watched the video: went straight to counting how many stands I would need. David, u basically made my day. 😊😁 Also, can those stands work for sets like the Republic Gunship (2013) and the Venator Class Republic Cruiser (2009)?
I'm at the "how to display these things" phase of my new found LEGO addiction. I don't really like the look of the clear boxes (though those wickedbrick ones with the printed backgrounds look awesome). But then I'm thinking about how these things are going to be embedded with dust in a short amount of time if I don't constantly keep them dusted, and I will forget. So the boxes may be the way to go. Can you get away with not having the boxes and just trying to hit them with a can of air once a week?
My only question is uh if I buy 10 of these how much will they cost with shipping to cause I don’t wanna pay excessive amounts for just 10 little stands
Hey David, maybe you should also check out Wicked Bricks. They also make pretty high quality stands. I’m on a huge FaceBook group called LEGO Star Wars Fans. Most of the people there recommend it. 😉
Hello, i know that is an old video, but you know what?, i started in the last 2/3 years again to collect lego, i'm to only buy SW lego, and i made (for now) 2 Displya Boxes,1 for the Deat Star 75159 (60x60x60, because i have on the way a 360 Display so the Death Star will rotate :-)) and cost me 177 dolars, and is a glass of 6mm, and i make another for R2D2, that cost me half of that. I think that you need to find a little place that make those things and the price will be lower that the "Famous" websites, my opinion. The other thing that i don't like of the box that you have, is that you need to pute the parts together and i don't 100% like the result, but is just me.
Nitzia Caraballo in which video did ryan take a jab at David? I’ve seen so many people comment about this but what is the video where mandr mentions David?
Does anyone know if these cases have studs on the bases to secure the sets maybe? I know there's another company that does this but wasn't sure if DisplayIt do
I like the MF case but it needs to be MORE FORM FITTING. Idisplay, this case should only be as big as it needs to be to cover the MF and no bigger. It's dumb to have wasted space in this case. The MF is already large enough.
The infomercial intro was so relatable tho

About the LEGO yellowing, clear acrylic will NOT protect your sets from UV light
Yesssssssssss
Damn, these display cases/stands are hot. I love the black base, for some reason it makes the set pop. Gotta try to get me one for the ISD!
I've only ever used display cases for figures, but seeing these I'm compelled to get some.

Buys a fish tank, proceeds to put LEGO set inside it

I got one of these a while a go for my 2017 millennium falcon
Im buying these for the Golden Legacy 10th Anniversary sets for the Ninjago Sets.
I ordered a case for my UCS superstardestroyer ill keep u updated

You can built display stands very easy for example with Lego technic bricks

thank you for this. question: how stable is the top. can one put something on it? and how is it fixed at the bottom?
Should I put my Lego city in a display case?
you realize you can get display cases from furniture stores like ikea, also there is something called UV film that 100% blocks out uv
$30 shipping to the US got me fcked up but damn do these displays look clean... can't wait to show off my helmets dust free ;)
I have bought a few stands from Wicked Bricks
Well heck. This sure worked 😂 thanks for the review David, I’ll be getting some soon 😶
