Doesn't matter of it's an emergency exit row or not. You can hinder emergency exit of yourself or others with that in the way. So most companies will not allow it. @@art3mis86
Cabin crew here . Most airlines dont allow the blow up pillow . So double check with the airline before you but it . Its not worth being told off . Its all for safety reasons.
The way the air blew out right into your face 😂. That must have looked so funny for the person sitting behind you... just a few strings of hair suddenly flying up 🤣.
Check airline policies before using inflatable pillows, could impede safety in emergency situations. A dense foam cervical collar may be a more comfortable and safe option for sleeping on flights.
No hate here but Just a heads up and to Save anyone carrying something through an airport only to be frustrated with the flight attendants when they’re told it’s not allowed. This foot pillow can impede her exit in an emergency or end up in the aisle blocking the exit route for others. In an unplanned emergency on water she also can’t access her life jacket under her seat, with young children these also carry the added risk of the child sliding down the side of the mattress while the parent sleeps. Anything inflatable can explode in a decompression, including the full head pillows that go around your head which will also affect your ability to fit your oxygen mask quickly. It’s always best with anything to check with the airline beforehand what their policies are to save disappoint 😊 x
Well that's what happen on a public plane, especially where there is not a lot of space. I don't understand, she's midning her own business, what don't you do the same ?
the lifehack I've adopted with those neck pillows is to wear them "backwards", since im too short for the headrest anyway and it only pushes my head forward from the angle. i put the closed side in front of my throat, under my chin, because when i sleep sitting up in a chair with a back that high, i have a problem with my head rolling forward instead of tilting back.
I really think the footrest one is a good idea. It is so uncomfortable to have my feet that low for a long time. Even when I drive I prop 1 foot up on the pocket on my door
lmao, when i get on a plane i physically cant stay awake after about ten minutes in the air 😂😂 it puts me Right out, doesnt matter how awake i was, i sleep thru the whole thing
Where did you get that neck pillow? I’ve tried so many different ones but they’re always almost too small? Idk.. but they’re more uncomfortable than no pillow at all, but yours looks really nice! Where can I buy one like that? 🥺
I always take a standard pillow on long haul flights. Hold it up right in front of you in a hugging motion, to rest your head on OR even better, fold it in half and put it on your tray table so you can lean forward to sleep. Works a charm.
i actually have both! and both have served me well in my long haul koreanair flights. i bought a stuffable tube pillow as additional personal item, but emirates apparently frowns on any other personal item/luggage/bag other than the one complimentary carryon bag in the economy class. oh well...
Idk what it’s called but I sat next to a girl who had an inflatable device that came up to about neck height from the tray table and there were holes to put her arms and face into 😂 I’m pretty sure it blocked a lot of light too. it looks very comfy
The pillow is usefull, but not sure about the inflatable thing. There is a risk that the inflatable could explode due to pressure in the cabin. Also, if you bought an economy class ticket, i doubt you have that much leg room unless your seat is in the emergency exit row.
Neck pillows are designed to be used under the chin, not around the neck since you are sleeping sitting up and the pillow prevents your head from tilting forward.
@@JuliaInMerica yup, 99.9% do for the wrong reason. Because it looks goofy when used correctly. The wrong way ends up either being useless since it falls off the user or creates a stiff neck after sleeping for a couple of hours.
I got blow-up pillow that has pockets for my hands to secure so my hands don't hang awkward and is big enough to lean on top and rest my head but cabin crew stopped me from using it. That was my only savior gadget for long-haul flights now I just suffer😢
Lol i had a pump desk pillow on the plane nd everyone was looking at me crazy because the pump was loud nd took up my whole spot lol they were nice but 😅😅

Flight attendant here: many airlines do not allow you to use these inflatable gadgets as they can block an aisle during an evacuation
She’s not in the emergency exit row tho that would be a hell no for sure ( But i don’t know how she got those item’s past security tho ).
