NO,NO,NO, ALL THE YELLOW HAD TO COME OFF BEFORE YOU APPLY THE CATALIZED EPOXY. THE TOP WILL HARDEN AND THE BOTTOM IS STICKY. IT WILL PEEL RIGHT OFF ONCE THE TOP IS CURED. I'm guessing the manufacturer assumed you removed it all to the bare substrate. You have a nightmare on your hands, mark my words. NACE certified engineer.

We had this same thing happen when I worked at Timberjack, they wanted everything pretty for when the bosses came through. Ours wouldn’t dry because of the substrate, so we ground a razor edge on some garden spades and peeled it up real fast.
Lots of paint stripper as a contractor shit happens you will get its just time might have to sand it. love the channel it will look great the second time around
Unbelievable, every epoxy you've used in your life has a part A and a part B, how could you!!?? My other advise would be to get all the tools out of there, and cover the entire floor, just do 10 x 10 squares at a time, and wear the spiked shoes, they're cheap. You guys aren't getting 30% of the stuff off, good luck to ya! I'd be so depressed if I did that to myself, you guys make me look like a pro...
Just some advice for your floor. There is an organic stripper made for concrete that would have stripped that floor right down. Xylene is no a good cleaner for removing paint it’s more of a light cleaner/ thinner. The concrete stripper is really heavy duty and dangerous to use but will strip that epoxy easy I bet. If I remember correctly it’s made by concreation company or Mac

Just for future reference as a 30-year painter any yellow or red, purple needs a gray primer first then it will cover in 2 coats food for thought

angle grinder with a wire brush. Removed Tile glue from a concrete floor. Doesn't get bogged. Keeps removing. Takes a while but works
Ok before I watch beyond trying wipe it off why not spray some of the hardner on it to see if it will soak in and harden it
