Major General Tariq al-Fiqi, Governor of Sohag, witnessed the reconciliation session between the "Al-Khatatba" family in the village of Beit Khalaf in Gerga, and the Al-Atamna family in the village of Rashaida in Asirat, at the pavilion in the village of Beit Khalaf, in the presence of Major General Hassan Mahmoud, Assistant Minister of Interior, Sohag Security Director, and Major General Jamal Ibrahim, Deputy Director of Security for the southern sector,
Dr. Abbas Shoman, Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al-Azhar, Sheikh Muhammad Zaki, Secretary-General of the Da’wa in Al-Azhar, MP Ahmed Abu Kreisha, Representative Yasser Nasr, members of the House of Representatives, Archbishop Ishaq Saad, representative of the Church, Brigadier Tariq Yahya, head of investigations of the Directorate, and Ali Abu Aqil, head of the Center And the city of Gerga, and a group of security, popular and executive leaders, clerics, mayors, sheikhs and senior families.
The governor expressed his appreciation to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and his thanks to the two families, the governorate’s reconciliation committee, the security men, the clergy and everyone who contributed, even with a kind word, to the completion of the peace, stressing the importance of rejecting violence, disagreement and discrimination, and standing together in order to devote themselves to development and construction, pointing out that we must bequeath to our children love. and tolerance, and to devote ourselves to building our beloved country and placing it in the place it deserves.
The curtain came down on the revenge feud between the Al-Khatatba family and the Al-Atamna family, and the feud was ended by the presentation of the coffin, and the oath of reconciliation was performed amid the great joy of all the attendees.

ياخد الديه ودا حقه والكفن ولكن لو المتوفي من عايله عندها مال وميسور الحال بيكون كفن بدون دبه
