    Lovely Grebe images, I have a local reservoir with lots of Grebe, however the reservoir is large and they don’t seem to venture near the shore.

      Thank you Jim. That’s usually the case here as well. I got lucky 😊

    Cool video :) i like the ground pod you made! makes it easy to push it forwards .. i always fight my tripod! .. haha

      Thanks a lot Dennis. Yeah the ground pod is very valuable to me when I shoot water fowl. I still have one of two left of the first batch so let me know if you need to get one 😊

    You got great images out there with low level shots , I like the ground pod you made I tried to make one but to heavy out of alloy.

      @ThamdrupWildlife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much! With the ground pod it’s a bit of a compromise because you want it to be sturdy but also light weight. I think this plastic version works really well as it is strong but only weighs 310 grams

      @@nigelpilsbury7328 I spent quite some time designing and testing different versions but now it takes about 11 hours to print on. I’m working on getting it produced properly in ABS plastic but that’s quite a project

    Beautiful video. I really do enjoy your vlog's out in the field. What are you using as a ground mat? Looks like a simple foam mat you put down for a sleeping bag?

      Thank you very much William. That’s exactly what it is. This may is called LiteMat 15 and is made by Asivik. You can probably get something similar in Canada. Check your local outdoors/camping store 😊

      @@ThamdrupWildlife Ok cool, yeah this winter I was using just a basic moving blanket, but I need something lighter and more portable that's also easier to clean. With spring on it's way, the ground is about to get very muddy in the next 2-3 weeks. Great idea, I'm going to get one shortly!

      @@Will_B_Photos_MTL yeah I have the same challenges. Plus the ground is still very cold so it’s nice to have a bit of insulation
