- Mama Tried 2023 was an amazing time again this year! Tons of choppers, wild racing at Flat Out Friday, and great conversations with some of the most creative and down-to-earth motorcycle builders and fabricators out there.
We caught up with Born-Free 13 invited builder AJ Anderson of Dream Company to talk about his 1947 Knucklehead chopper known as Candyland.
Jake Elstone of Sweeties MFG shows us around his Frankenstein of a divorced Ironhead chopper. It may look a bit crusty but the work that went into it is pure class.
Did you know Fonzie rode a Harley-Davidson Knucklehead in Season One of Happy Days? George Roeder II now owns the motorcycle and has restored it to its former television glory.
Warren Heir Jr., owner of JR's Cycle Products and one of the founders of the Mama Tried Show gives us the low-down on his 1941 Knucklehead chopper.
The only TH-camrs bigger than Mr. Beast @TheEazyCo took a minute to remind all to like and subscribe. They also brought a downright gorgeous Knucklehead to the show that fans of our channel will recognize.
Hayley made a hecking cool XS650 chopper to impress a little girl... but she'll probably never see it. At least you will!
Tim Scates tours us around his mean Moto Guzzi chopper. Not usually what we mean when we talk V-twin choppers but this thing sure is stunning.
@GearedScience doesn't just make great TH-cam videos, he also builds rad bikes! Dig this fantastic 1955 Panhead chopper.
High Rollers Custom Cycle brought us one sweet bar hopping machine to the motorcycle show. It's a 1947 Knucklehead survivor chopper. If this thing could talk...
Anthony Sundell is a super talented painter now based in Kentucky but brought a bike straight out of Florida's MC glory days. Take a look at that paint and try to tell us that Ironhead doesn't look 50 years old.
Greasy Reaper is writing books, creating games and building crazy cool choppers. Check it out.

Hell yea i was hoping there would be an extended video of this years shenanigans 🤘🏻
Loved this video. Great seeing and hearing George Roeder. Seen him race many times and have also met and talked with him. Great guy.
06:16 "just be weird! Do weird shit!" best sentence, ever.
One of the coolest bike shows I’ve ever seen !
Very awesome bike show 👍🏾greatly enjoyed watching
Amazing
Thank you for this film!! Stones Sportster was really rad!
Thank you! What a great time!
Missed my bedtime by an hour because of this. Too cool.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I wanna see more Hayley Fukin lover her!!!
Like the background music.
Need a copy of that, like a Sound Track.
I had a great time at Flat Out Friday and the Show on Saturday
Many nice bikes.
Só obra de arte
george roder: you do exude a certain "je ne sais quoi", good for you for that much "blessing" 😂
Really disappointed in Easy Co. for not bringing Crazy Dave to Daffy Duck around the joint !
Happy Days Fonzie that was a triumph
We need one here in california
Have had one in the show since year one 🤙
'If your chopper doesn't need a few bolts, and nuts tightened after a 500 mile ride, you've done something wrong'... To paraphrase my Pops about cruisers. I don't completely agree, but I understand the mindset, these are machines that demand attention, and reward impressively.
Freedom!

IRONHEADS RULE!!
🤘😎🤘
eye gotta SHORTSTERS mounting kit for if my tranny ever grenades.

Haley rox! 🤘🏼🤙🏾
AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
All due respect to Born Free, but the bikes at this show are on another level.
Очень круто!
Warren Heir: just a simple hardtail harley with a louis vuitton seat??? 😄 and parts coming from half way around the globe? VERY authentic, bet you brought it on tesla cybertruck 🤣
Good one dad
Maquinas hermosas con una nostalgia guardada que se añora tiempos que se quedaron guardados en nuestra memoria gracias por estos fabulosos momentos que nos regalas saludos desde México.
wheres the sign up list for test rides XD
you don't have to find me FTW
The first Fonzy bike was a full dressed harley. It was too big for the Fonz, so they changed to the Triumph.
Next time, can it just be an hour and a half of Hayley talking shit? lol Plz and Thx
Look mum. Someone put barbecue skewers on old motorcycles.
Is there anywhere with a list of all the builders? I'm trying to find that shovel cafe racer
I don't think there's a full list anywhere, if you comment with the time stamp of the bike you're looking for I can probably figure it out for you
Chrome won't get you home .I WONDER IF THERE'S ONE DAILY RIDER IN THE WHOLE BUNCH
Doubt it 😅
Jake Elstone seems like he daily rides his chopper it’s a work of art
It depends on how much you value your kidneys
I think they are all riders. Seems apparent to me. Just because a guy washes one or makes it catchy doesn’t mean he doesn’t ride. It doesn’t have to be a pile of shit to be a “daily rider”.
Indian Larry looms large…

Great video but not one shot of the bike that won the best in show at mama tried , Jeff wrights bike
It's wild those spacey bikes look ugly but man the hours and craftsmanship is insane though.
Any details on the green 2 stroke from 1:24:23?
That's a 1995 Kawasaki KX500 built by KC Elkins out of Lancaster, Kentucky. He's @krossover_customs on Instagram or his email is krossovercustoms@yahoo.com
@@ChopCult_09 wow ok you win the internet for the day!
like the one guy, i like working on bikes than riding LOL
You mean "rather" than...? learn to speak.......
Don't y'all be talkin' 'bout my Mama.
Seen a nuff Harley Davidson's that d*** moto guzzi is cool
geez the purple lighting in this venue kinda sucks for a bike show, thanks for showing the bikes though
where is this?
It's in Milwaukee, WI at The Rave. They put on this show every year in February
@@ChopCult_09 thank you guys.
The old school bike at 2.22 - you don't use strips on a bike, that looks 1960ish..
Henry Winkler was a small guy which doesn't matter because I have seen some 5 foot tall people ride punched out shovels but Winkler was an actor not a biker
666 like!
Oh boy….more Chops…some are interesting..most are totally not worth attempting to ride.. 90% are garage art…
looks like 2 me you need 2 buy some stock in a fu$kin oil refinery...
Most of these bikes r art and not made 2 ride pro street choppers
rule factory or custom enuff said.
See no Evo, Hear no Evo, Ride no Evo..... Shovels rule....
❤😊
❤😂
Only a few original creations, the rest are cheap imitations of the past - fake patina & period incorrect parts are for amateurs.
Lots and lots of art and skill went into these rides. not a lot of technology and less usable or enjoyable machines to ride.
How did the bike raffle go?🤥
If you're talking the one we gave away with @throttleaddiction John R. from Illinois won it! He picked it up last week: th-cam.com/users/shortsfC_hTYHjPhU?feature=share
