This pedestrian bridge is also famous for being a swaying bridge.
There are no supports between either end of the bridge. Below is the busy Showa-dori street, and just above is the Shuto Expressway.
The harmonious combination of the deflection caused by people walking and the vibrations from the roads above and below makes this a very swaying pedestrian bridge.
Please be aware of the swaying when crossing.
