Lord Fuzzman I see you have written; "STAYTREM bridge installation - adjustomatic / tunomatic upgrade..." Then you write "This Adjusto-matic bridge Will fit the following guitars..." My question to you then "is a STAYTREM bridge considered to be an Adjusto-matic bridge?"
Matt Gehringer - Hello Matt often the term Adjust-o-matic is used to describe any Tune-o-matic on a FMIC brand guitar such as Jackson, Charvel or Squier. So we’re talking about the same thing really.
The original is ok but the staytrem moves with the trem so helps keep the guitar in tune if you happen to use the trem a lot! It’s a much better quality bridge and feels less sharpe on the hand if you palm mute!!
The TOM on my Classic player kept having buzzing coming from the screws even after getting a new one and doing a couple different mods. Also TOM comes in 12" radius, which doesn't match the 9.5" rad necks. Staytrem is way better.
"The Staytrem bridge is designed to rock back and forth with the movement of the tremolo, just like the original Fender bridge. If the bridge does not move with the tremolo the guitar will constantly go out of tune. Some players do not use the tremolo and prefer the bridge to be fixed so we offer an optional extra. The bridge can be supplied with nylon sleeves fitted to the support posts that will restrict any movement to a minimum." staytrem.com/epages/950002362.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950002362/Categories/Page__Category4

Last I checked, they aren't making the studs any more?
Will Stark - he's started doing them again. They're for sale on the site now!! Get 'em quick!!
Lord Fuzzman thank you man, gonna pick one up right now
Will Stark - No worries there's a link in the description. Mention you just saw the Demo on TH-cam :)
Hi, are you sure they make them again? I just checked today the site and they don't make them anymore
Chris Chatzi - click on the link in the description of this vid. It's almost impossible to find on the main site. I think he's due an upgrade of the site asap!
Send me a staytrem :D... i wonder if they still do not sell outside UK... They're bridge and a fender bridge, are the only ones i'd ever put on my guitar. I cant stand the mastery bridge. Amazing, precise mechanism that bridge is... no question... but the "futuristic" design and logo is NOT at all what I want on a guitar. Especially one mimicking vintage. That one red haired ghey guitar tech guy... he completely NAILED the description of that bridge. He coupled his vocal description of mastery's look, with a few stills from the Terminator 2 film... HAHHAAH... with the robot hand and everything. I died laughing!!>. that's EXACTLY how I felt when viewing the bridge for the first time. Staytrem is perfect beauty. THankyou
Staytrem are now shipping globally again 👍🏻. Yeah I think someone copied my terminator comparison that I did in this video 😝

@@LordFuzzman ahhh.. ok. AWESOME.
this or the mustang bridge?
moon burst - this is go to if you want to upgrade your mustang bridge!
Lord Fuzzman I see you have written; "STAYTREM bridge installation - adjustomatic / tunomatic upgrade..." Then you write "This Adjusto-matic bridge
Will fit the following guitars..." My question to you then "is a STAYTREM bridge considered to be an Adjusto-matic bridge?"
Matt Gehringer - Hello Matt often the term Adjust-o-matic is used to describe any Tune-o-matic on a FMIC brand guitar such as Jackson, Charvel or Squier. So we’re talking about the same thing really.
whats wrong with the original tune o matic bridge?
The original is ok but the staytrem moves with the trem so helps keep the guitar in tune if you happen to use the trem a lot! It’s a much better quality bridge and feels less sharpe on the hand if you palm mute!!
The TOM on my Classic player kept having buzzing coming from the screws even after getting a new one and doing a couple different mods. Also TOM comes in 12" radius, which doesn't match the 9.5" rad necks.
Staytrem is way better.
What's the obsession with the bridge moving? A blank TunaMatic has no radius, saddle files set the radius.
I do not understand how it can move with the trem since it is screwed to the mounting studs....?
Tochiro Mifune - it’s not screwed to the mounting studs it simply sits on them. If you took the strings off, the bridge would fall out.
Great! Staytrem bridge works on my Fender Jazzmaster Classic Player?
Guillermo Cuevas S - Yes this one would fit, however I don’t believe he makes these ones for adjustomatic bridges anymore!
@@LordFuzzman Thanks!
As much AS i am interested in this Bridge for this guitar... Staytrem declare their Bridge is No suitable replacement for adjust-o-matic guitars
Philipp Grünert he just doesn’t make them any more I’m afraid. I think after this video he received more orders than he could keep up with 👍🏻
Too much movement on the pins.
That'll be easy to knock out of tune and intonation :(
"The Staytrem bridge is designed to rock back and forth with the movement of the tremolo, just like the original Fender bridge. If the bridge does not move with the tremolo the guitar will constantly go out of tune.
Some players do not use the tremolo and prefer the bridge to be fixed so we offer an optional extra.
The bridge can be supplied with nylon sleeves fitted to the support posts that will restrict any movement to a minimum."

@@walterrizotto8668 the bridge is designed to rock but the tuneomatic stud holes aren't the same as the usual thimbles. There's much more movement here.
would these work if the bridge was a mastery?
Henry Day - this is a replacement Bridge in itself. So you could choose a Mastery or one of these!
I thought J Mascis guitar was white and gold
cdreyes81 - Ha ha yeahi it is, I swapped the pickguard.’there’s a video of that on my chanel too!
Aaaaaaaagh buzz stop! I hate those things, they ruin the guitar.
Ha ha I’m gonna do a comparison vid on buzzstops soon. I only have one guitar with one on. It came with it on and I never took it off. I really sit on the fence with them. They change the harmonics slightly when playing behind the bridge but don’t think they make any other difference to the sound or playability really 🤷♂️
