This cover is exactly how I heard and watched Foreigner back in the day. And tbh, just as boring a on stage performance as Foreigner was when I saw them, lol. I was a big fan of Foreigner back in the day. But in concert they just stood there singing like these kids. I hope you'll take the time to watch this young lady. Like "Liliac" she's a rocker 1st and foremost, or at least that's what she was known for when she appeared on AGT here. Later she showed everyone that she could sing anything she wants just as well and with the same flare on stage. She's 17 now but has been put on hold due to Covid 19 or she would have a household name by now. She was so good on that show that year that Woodstock invited her to there 50th anniversary festival that never happened because of lack of funding and poor management by Woodstock executives. But Courtney would have destroyed most of the talent at that festival. Please take time to react to her. You'll see her fans come flocking to watch it.
Undeniably enjoyable. And don't get me wrong, I really liked it and I will probably check out more of Lexington Lab Band because of it. However some of the other covers you react to are a bit more creative becuase they change up the style and own the song a bit more. This one simply mimiced the original. Too harsh?

No, not harsh at all. But that is their thing. They try to get the song technically perfect. Just another approach. I appreciate the talent.
