All the sound in this game is amazing but I remember the first time I heard the rain hitting a metal roof nearby and how incredible it sounded. A game that needs a good surround setup to play.
I had no clue how much actually goes into sound in games, and the bigger and more complex the world is, the more sounds it has. This game seems like it took some time to gather all these audio files!
Honestly, the sounds in this game were one of the many reasons I loved it. Man, feels like this stuff should have been released ahead of the release of the game. Unless this is leading to an announcement of a sequel, which man I fuckin hope so. Won't hold my breath though, since I know someone down the line said no to that, stupidly.

Days gone has alot of details in terms of sounds. Its so overwelming going around in the cascade regions while its raining and you are trying to kill some freeks, especially during the first parts of the game where you can feel the hostile ambience of this zombie (kinda) epidemic... Its Just too good
nothing more terrifying in recent games than when you trigger a horde and you hear all the sounds of them but dont know yet where they are coming from, and then they see you you just have to deal with them.
Love this. It's so obvious the care that went into Days Gone, in audio and every other aspect. I tend to drag out my time in a game world and really immerse myself in it and this has been one of the most captivating game worlds I've ever spent time in- one of the few times I've avoided fast traveling, not even once, and sometimes go out into 'the shit' on foot just for the different visceral experience it provides. This is all without even considering the brilliant story. I would put it up among my all time favorites. So much respect for the team. If there won't be a sequel, that's fine, but I'll keep an eye out for what you guys create in the future. Thank you much :)

So many compliments I can give, especially the sound design for the weapons are truly the best in the industry. To actually hear a bullet travel through a canyon, and feel the impact is something I've never experienced in a video game. My game of the generation!!! I solute you all at Bend, and I just can't wait to see what your working on next.
