What type of grass will you be putting on your new property?
My husband and I are building a home and have been learning about different types of grasses, trying to figure out what would work best for our land and location.

How would you time this with the fall of leaves in the northeast? Our first leaves are starting to fall now but quite a massive amount left to go. Is it okay to do this process before all the leaves are down?

I would get the leaves that have fallen mowed up and then thatch and fertilize in the same day and you should be good. As long as there isn't a layer of leaves that the fertilizer will sit on.
