lucky girl! my father was in the military so we moved a lot. my Dad was from BC and my Mom from Toronto. grandparents were someone we visited rarely and infrequently. they were all dead by the time I was 14, so I never got to know them or learn what my parents were like as kids, or how to make Grandma Kennedy's famous rice pudding or to smoke salmon with Grandma Gomez.....something I made sure did not happen with my daughter. she knows her Grandma, and has many memories.
I know that there are a whole lot of people on this planet, but when did people stop mattering? Or did they ever matter? Everyone's so busy rushing, working, and forgetting about others, corporations busy making profits at the expense of people, and I just wish the world cared about relationships and people more.
Gold, Hollie. Thank you.
She never fails to impress!
"We just kept it covered up and married bloody quickly" love it:)
Just discovered Hollie today and fascinated by how her many poems give new meaning to "Reality"
Mesmeric as always Hollie, you always bring a smile to my face & your words move me - Truly an inspirational woman..
Love, love, love. Thank you again for making me smile, laugh and maybe even tear up a little. Such moving words, as always. Thank you.
