Dr. Lori should do this kind of format on her own show. It works!

Please people don't listen to this lady, the fair market value on the Dorothy doll is around $20-50. I sell stuff like this all of the time and I'm very familiar with the values on toys and collectables.

But you're not a financier. Which means you are not familiar with the changing market and currency Value So you could be underselling even though This inflation is the value in your dollar currently as we speak. Not to mention that like money The market Is fluid Meaning different times of year And Different periods of time Changes the volume And value. The bottom line is It's worth what someone is willing to pay.

That thing is, people will check ebay sold filter and see the last few sell prices and base their price on those only. Appraisers do show a recent completed sell at the value price they give you with an appraisal. I see lots of valuable items being given away on eBay at a fraction of their value. Like a solid sterling signed native American necklace with real turquoise that weighed over 300 grams that sold for $20, the starting bid price. That doesn't mean it is the market value of that item but someone who doesn't know and vases their asking price on ebay comps only may think it is.

@@possumfriend2335 but this particular item I can tell you has been consistently selling for that for some time. I have a friend who specifically collects wizard of oz so I have seen these sell for around $25 pretty consistently
