Hey all! TAS author here. Up to 7:00, the movie is exactly he same as the previous TAS by Aglar, Randil, et al. This movie improves it only on the boss fight, thanks to the discovery of a technique that allows shooting multiple shots at a time. That, and the use of brute-forcing bot that found a pretty much optimal solution. One day I'll try to TAS the rest of the game, but I hope you enjoy this movie!
@@CaodeSucks HI! from time to time I stream the bot running on my twitch channel www.twitch.tv/eien86. Otherwise you can find my runs in TASVideos.org. Cheers!
Hella frame loops. Let's see, looks like it's actually 4 video frames (60 FPS) per animation frame; but it also moves every video frame, probably on smoothed paths too. The animation and movement in this game are well done; Rare didn't disappoint, even this early!
Your comment awoke ancient knowledge in my brain. I had to look up a 13 year old blog post, but the reason why it looks so good is because the artist - Ste Pickford - recreated it from Muybridge's Animals in Motion reference book!
One of my childhood and favorite NES game. It's funny to hear the music messes up here at 0:06 because this is what I used to hear when I pressed START as fast I could as a kid (unless I needed to enter password). This game has impressed sprite animations by NES standard like the eagle's flapping animation for a 1988 game, which were not common in many NES titles.
Hey WebNations can i suggest game you play? I suggest you to play a "Knight of Valour" I hope you notice my comment i miss this game please make this gameplay i always watch your gameplay thank u so much❤️
WebNations is an account that profited off of everyone's work, both in Tool-Assistance, and basic speedrunning. And has thankfully never returned after being outed of their slimy actions 4 years ago. We're not that site or one man thief. As for Knight of Valour it is listed as an idea to do, just no one has worked on it.

This is an absolute favourite game of mine, is that bot open to the public? I'm very interested in seeing it in action!

0:34 something about that bird looks amazing, like it’s flapping it wings in 60 FPS or something.

This looks very daunting. It amazes me how intricate some early NES games were
This game is amazing. Not a hard game
@@stevenmcelroy2646 What? I finished the other W&W games easily but could never complete this one. This one is def hard.
It's crazy how complicated some of them were. Blaster Master? Deadly Towers? I was only 7, ffs!
Always good to see the game that nearly broke me as a kid get absolutely steamrolled via TAS.
Awe man I used to LOVE this series!
The tas series??
You know, none of the four animals looks too happy at the end. Put on a smile, guys!
In this game, the Ironsword is a special one-of-a-kind sword.
This is in contrast to Fire Emblem, where iron swords are common and everywhere.
This game would stress the hell out of me back in the days. And yet, it is one of my favorites.
2160p60 quality for an NES game. We have come a looooooooong way.
I didn't realize the hero's helmet had a cross on it, I thought he just had 2 big eyes.
Wait, you mean the main character isn't Jon Arbuckle in fullplate?

Something about the sound chip in old Rare games reminds me of my childhood.
I was so little when i played this never got pass the cloud stage
Ahhh this game and the shaking rage I had towards it when I was a wee boy. lol - still love that music though
To date, the only publication Fabio appeared on the cover of that WASN'T a romance novel
Damn, never made it that far into the game as a kid. I usually lost on the purple underground looking level at 4:00
Damn. Keeping the Windbane spell really makes a lot of annoying parts a lot easier.
How do you do so much damage to the elementals in the final battle? Seems when I shoot them is does very little.
I had this game as a kid. My sister kept stealing it because she had the hots for the guy pictured on it.
like a boss.
I laugh when you don't have enough money and the shopkeeper grabs you by the nap of your pants and throws you out LMAO!
Ah, the game with the overly animated 60FPS bird
0:06 boom
I personally reach the final boss and died twice, my brother finished this game. This is excruciatingly difficult especially timing the jumps.
oh yeah
This game was impossible to beat as a 10-year-old...
EAR 👂
....but they were all of them deceived. Malkil lived and went on to turn into a fart. lol
Please please make a GBA Street fighter alpha 3 TAS please
mogu mogu
mogu mogu okayu
