beautiful sound, great blend. first movement was a bit too slow-it's supposed to be bolero, but worked well. i'm most impressed by the attention paid to archaic french phonological structures. many people ruin this by using modern french diction on these forms. nicely done.
Recordists have been debating this since the early 20's... Well it's a live recording, I've grown accustomed to this. Try to edit most of it out though.
This is a very challenging choral arrangement by Debussy, and it was very well done. Also, there are nice young voices. Bravo!
Beautiful arangement, excellent singers, well balanced blend of voices.
Fun to listen to.
I sang this with the University Chorale University of Washington 1986? It changed my musical life forever!
I am a trombonist. I’m playing a trombone quartet arrangement of this piece. It’s so beautiful!
