The scariest part of this story is not the knife-wielding psychopath, but the the accurate depiction of how childhood friends grow up and grow apart.
Your the only one I can rely on recently for consistent uploads, with some days having multiple uploads. It also doesn't hurt that your narration skills are off the charts.

I regrettably Just subscribed to light house a couple months ago, so I guess his notifications are more noticeable since he has me hooked lol. Also listen to Dark somnium, king spook and big daddy which haven't been consistent lately but understand life happens.

As scary and realistic the story, the truth of the friends breakup is what really makes this story great. From fear and hope, to sadness and empathy, and finally back around to dread. Truly a great one.

Being that there was no silly criptid or supernatural/alien element it comes off as being very feasible which makes it scary. Well done guys.
So you listen to creepypastas that we fictional tales generally written as a first person experience. That is almost always supernatural in nature yet you find these plot devices are unfavorable seems contradictive to me.
@@grimsgraveyard3598 i enjoy a good spooky story with criptids and such, though theyve just about been overplayed with countless stories being written. They can be fun, but this story, is easily conceivable in real life with all of the freaks out there. No silly monster story is going to be as scary as a child being abducted and tortured because criptids are bullshit fiction, this type of horrible thing actually happens, probably more often than we think - THAT is FAR scarier than bigfoot or Bloody Mary any day, and i would hope anyone else would agree.

@@goldenagenut you can easily enough kill a person though so that's why that doesn't even scare me. Now imagine of some bullshit monster that's supposed to be fictional shows up. Now that's far more terrifying to me got your guns and knives and other defensive measurements. Those will generally stop or deter a human will bad intentions yet to let's say a werewolf or a spiritual entity that doesn't even slow them down much.
@@orionar2461 and that part was why I didn't like this story the guy was already well into his early 50s during the original encounter. If he's a normal human he's dead by now for decades or so old and frail it's a chore to wipe his own ass.
