Moser puts the dramatic in the coloratura. I still wonder why she lost her voice so early. What a shame! Is it true she lost it in a disease? Also, what if Callas sang it too? If she can sing Abigail, she would have sung this with the same ferocity.
@@frb1808 Callas do not have the high F, so she can't sing it technically and she is strict with her singing. She don't lower the key just to sing a song. She sings the score as written.
@@frb1808 Yes and Callas is a strict musician whereby she sings whatever is written. If it need a F6 which she doesn't have, she just won't sing. That's how strict her musicianship is. On a side note, Joan Sutherland did sung O Zitre Nicht in original key and also the high F in ich bin die erste sangerin. She just wasn't comfortable with high F thus she lowered the key
@@claudineshafa5546 hahhhhhahuahuahuahuaha-hahahaha : this is not pure good singing ! This is boring, pressed & something what I can only name : girlish pressure with bad technique ! Listen to Edda Moser & Crietina Deutecom & Erna Sack ! Rebeka sounds like Damrau, Sumi Jo, Gruberova etc. very girlish & not dramatic ! A liric Soubretta is not a real Belcantoqueen or Queen of the Night ! A Soubretta has to sing : „Ich bin die Christel von der Post !“ by the way : Rebeka looks like a soubretta = Gänsemagd (Gruberova too)!
Fantastisch!
Wow now this ACTUALLY SOUNDS like an angry, murderous Queen. Very impressive singing and dramatic interpretation!
Superbement bien chanté cet air si difficile !!!
This is how is done, certain others should take notes
Beautiful
Dramatic coloratura❤
Endlich wieder einmal keine Soubrette als Königin! Tolle dramatische Stimme
Almost on the level of Edda Moser!
Non esageriamo.
YESS! She is fantastic.
convincing, born to stage
True, she's an excellent actress. One doesn't even need to see her - she expresses all the emotions through her voice.
Are there any any roles except pure dramatic ones she cannot sing?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
:o)
This I prefer over Damrau, but Moser will always be still the best.
Agree, Moser is THE Queen of the Night!

@@danielng7795 You're right tho. Sutherland can only reach E6 as well but she did sing Die holle rache, although on a lower scale
