FUN FACT : the largest island in the world isn't Australia it's Greenland 🤓☝🏻
Er.. no it isn't. Greenland is 2.166m Square kms and Australia is 7.688m Square kms according to Google. Greenland looks bigger on a map because of the distortions of projecting a sphere onto a rectangle

Australia is far larger than Greenland but is considered a continent so that is why Greenland is seen as largest Island. Aussie is the Size of the US (Minus Alaska)
