Next, look for the nouns in each paragraph and make a list of them. Then decide what the meaning of the paragraph is using those nouns and their associated descriptors (pronouns, adjectives). Now you can draft the first version of the précis in the third person. Finally, write it once more with changes to correct the grammar if needed. The précis you have written should look and read like a mini essay.
